The room was very smelly , bathroom door was locking and very difficult to open . Staff phoned me after 2 days asking me what I did to hair dryer said it was burnt sounded like it had electrical fault

The affordability and location is great for me personally.
Room smelt like strong strong bleach and sheets or something at top of bed kinda was a bit smelly but non are deal breakers and breakfast was a bit lacklustre.
Very basic hotel. It seems that people who struggle with rent or are in arrears are put into this hotel. Will not be using again I am afraid.
Bed, bathroom, decor, carpet, general feel is tired and dated.
Bed was comfy. Sheets clean. Had been a lovely building in its day.
Whole Building smelled of smoke. Electrical items pat tests(when there) were years out of date. Drawers broken, walls splashed around tea machine. Sofa also splashed. Sink dirty. Bath used to be a spar but had had electrics removed, leaving holes. No mattress protector.

Very cheap, although being charged £3 extra for parking was a bit strange.
The website stated there was a restaurant and bar on site, but when we arrived these were closed. We ended up having to get a takeaway and eat in the room which wasn't ideal. We also had a problem with no lights working in the bathroom. The man on reception suggested we leave the door open from the bedroom to allow light in! Eventually someone came to replace all 4 light bulbs which I guess is a positive. Overall the whole hotel felt like it was quite rundown and lacking in maintenance, but you get what you pay for I suppose.
The hotel was convenient for the party we were attending elsewhere in Thurcroft that evening. The price was OK given the location. Other than that it was a budget hotel. The bedding was clean.
The bathroom was rather tired with a bath panel that could do with replacement. We didn't use the shower as there was a rather large clump of human hair hanging doom the shower riser. We weren't;t too far from home and chose to shower when we got back. Breakfast was somewhat limited. We didn't appreciate being asked for £3 to cover parking when it was clearly included on our booking. We couldn't access the EV charging points as someone had parked a large diesel pick up truck in the EV parking spaces.
Big room, plenty of space for family of 5 in one room. Comfortable beds and good large bathroom. Easy to find location. New spa being built looks excellent with lots of facilities planned but was not finished when we were there. Can see that the hotel has lots of potential but it is very dated at the moment. Friendly and helpful staff, easy to park and cheap parking. NO sign at all of any immigrants at the hotel.
Old and dated carpets, mismatched and old curtains. Stained carpets and poorly repaired doors in hall way. Not enough pillows, one for each person only. Not enough tea cups, two for a room of 5 people. No proper breakfast offered, continental only and expensive at 9 pounds each. A bit of road noise but fine with window shut.

Hot shower tap broken only had warm shower no signal on tv wifi kept going down
It’s just big and comfortable and the owner upgraded me as a nice gesture he’s so nice!!
There wasn’t a stash of money in the room waiting for me
