Just as expected
We really enjoyed the room, it was spacious and perfect for what we needed for a short break, it was really hot and the owner spoke to us and asked what room we were in, by the afternoon we had a fan, it was a god send after hiking all day in the heat!
It's a shame the rooms dont have a mini fridge to keep things cold, we stayed during the heatwave so the drinks went warm quickly but is only a small inconvenience
The location
The insect infestations. No hot water. Decrepit bathrooms, urine stained mattress. Very open drug use (literally saw a man doing a line of cocaine in a front facing window). Careless staff. Black mould. Poor facilities
Well leaving the property was the best thing about it
The way it is portrayed on the advertisement is nothing like what it actually is scruffy dirty run down and overall has a grimy dull feeling to the place advertising spa area that isn’t there at all really just showing false advertisement that’s nothing like it actually is dirty room tv not working properly and no heating at all we could see our breath in the room it was so cold
Rude and stuck up customer service never have I ever stayed at such a shambles of a hotel you couldn’t pay me to stay at this joke of a place again
I feel sorry for the reception staff as I guarantee they are not spoken to nicely by management if they speak to customers the way I have been spoken to

Party at the hotel went on to late hours of the morning and
The staff are always nice and welcoming and polite a majority of the rooms are warm and comfortable with nice facilities and they are great value for money
Normally when I stay at the consort hotel if available I can stay in the usual same rooms
But on this occasion I was put in room 117 it wasn't great the shower did not work and the bed was very uncomfortable I did not sleep very well.

Decor a bit tired. The whole hotel is in need of a refurbished but for the price everything was acceptable

Very noisy. They had a function going on and the function room was across the hall. People in and out of the function room being loud, banging doors. Music didn’t turn off till 3 in the morning, and then lots of people loitering in the corridors and doors banging. Awful nights sleep!!
As we were not attending the function we should have been out in a room away from it!!
