Location is good, bed massive and comfortable, liked the arty aspects of the room and the soundproofing against outside noise was good
It was expensive just for a standard room and the bathroom and carpets a bit tired
Stayed here many times. Great location, clean, comfortable and friendly staff.
Nothing not to like, outside noise can be a little loud at times but to be expected given the location, so wasnt an issue to me and didnt affect my stay.
Staff was very helpful and room was spacious.
Not sparking clean. The decorative color statues were clearly dusty. Also, not too close to the center.

Le prix était assez élevé pour ce type d’hôtel mais c’était sans doute lié à la période de festival et au passage de Bon Jovi à Edinbourg

+ very friendly and helpful staff
+ one European socket outlet type 1
+ room came with a mini fridge
+ closet large enough to store your clothing
+ desk with a chair plkus an extra chair
+ you can connect your laptop with an HDMI cable to the tv which is a huge advantage when you have to work or want to watch your own shows
+ house keeping works up to 6 p.m. so your room still gets cleaned if you leave late
+ hotel restaurant has a good dinner selection
- outlet socket in bathroom shuts down when you turn the light off, so electrical toothbrush does not get charged, you can't use a night light
- two elevators out of four were out of order during the whole of eight days we stayed there, this lead to a long waiting time at busy times such as breakfast
- one of three coffee makers was not working during our stay of eight days which lead to long queues during busy breakfast times
- air conditioning in room 270 was not working
- windows open only a tiny bit on the top
- bathroom looks like it has been remodelled lately, would have been better if bathtub had been replaced with a shower
