They punch below their weight. Poor customer service

The location is ok and the facility is modern
The transport and transfer desk with Windhoek Airport offered perfect services and was very kind.

Cons:

They did not clean my room on day 2 despite so many calls and a complaint email. I even went to complain at the front desk. Eventually a duty manager arrived at 9 p.m and she was shocked to find my room like that. She upgraded me to a Deluxe.

They don't provide enough water in the room. Two bottles of 330 ML for 24 hours.

They have a smart TV but it's not connected to the internet. They prohibit customer to connect the TV using their phone internet. For a facility charging premium rate a smart TV should be a basic service


The breakfast was boring and not tasty.

Ausblick und Lage waren o.k.

Cons:

Nach einem wirklich schönen Urlaub durch ganz Namibia mit zahlreichen Lodges stellte sich das Hilton, was wir am Ende des Urlaubs zum Städtetrip ausklingen lassen wollten, zur Katastrophe heraus. Wir kamen an und hatten die Diplomaten Suite (85m2) mit 3 Personen (Tochter 15) für knapp 590€ gebucht. Am Desk wurde uns erklärt, dass es nur ein Doppelbett gibt. "Die Zustellbetten wären aus"
Die Arbeitsebene ist motiviert Probleme zu lösen, das Management hat komplett auf der Beschreibung bestanden und die Buchung mit Tochter einfach ignoriert. Sie wollte nicht helfen.
Wir hätten alles gerne rückgängig gemacht, nix bezahlen und wären woanders gerne untergekommen. Alles war ausgebucht. Blöd.
Am Ende haben wir von der engagierten Arbeitsebene (Housekeeping) eine zusätzliche Matratze bekommen.
Die Managerin hat sich um nix mehr gekümmert.
Also Fazit: Arbeitsebene motiviert und engagiert, Managerin fehl am Platz und nicht lösungsorientiert. Teilweise von Oben herab, bei einem Kunden, der eine Suite für 590€ pro Nacht bucht. ;(
Achso, Minibar muss man separat bestellen für eine Befüllung.
PS: Frühstück: Es sollte zu dem Zimmer ein Zugang zur Executive Lounge mit kleinem separatem Frühstück und nachmittags Snacks geben. Diese Lounge hat nur Nüsse und Kaffee. Alkohol erst ab 19.00 Uhr. Frühstück gab es gar nicht. Alles unten im Massenraum.
Na toll.

Pros:

Komen er 10 jaar, ieder jaar. Investeren niet in infrastructuur onderhouden, personeel. Teren op de naam Hilton alleen.
Dit jaar, bij uitchecken plots mededeling dat als ik niet met Visa betaal, er een toeslag is. Ik zeg dat dit zomaar niet kan.
Strafste, zodra ik deze opmerking geef, zegt baliemedewerker, ok, we rekenen de toeslag niet aan.
Ik reageer, ah dus nog sterker, wie mondig is, hoeft toeslag niet te betalen. Dat is Hilton onwaardig, zo handelen tav klanten.
Ze stonden erbij als geslagen honden!
Conclusie: bad management. Ik ga nooit nog naar Hilton

The Skybar

Cons:

It was as if it is World War 1 where the amenities are limited one towl no coffee no restocking some mornings.
I paid for a Room with a Private Garden did not even get this as it was not available had to settle for a normal room but I paid for it.
The food is the same everyday not a big variety.
I am dissatisfied after spending Close to R100k For 4/5 nights on all my rooms.
Paying R100k and not even getting two towels or two waters.
So much for a Dulux World War 1 Room.
