Ok if you need an alternative to expensive Hartford hotels
Pros:

Close to the city and plenty of places to eat. Reasonably priced, breakfast ok.

Cons:

Pool was overrun with unruly children, not enough chairs and a local swim school using it the next day, not very clean. Didn’t activate key card and no apology when we had to go back down to lobby. Limited parking and staff didn’t care that multiple cars were taking up two spots each.

Barely adequate
Pros:

Front desk clerk was sweet and helpful

Cons:

Pool was freezing cold and green as a swamp…it was the main reason we chose the hotel and the kids refused to get in! One of the 2 elevators was broken down the entire tome we were there and with a massive soccer tournament we were all coming and going at the same times….Super inconvenient. The other one sounded like it was going to break any minute…

Exhausted and disappointed.
Pros:

The facility and staff was wonderful.

Cons:

It was understaffed for the night. There was only one employee and there were young teens running the halls, shouting, screaming, slamming doors, and running the steps(next to our room). We and another guest came into the hall and spoke to them 3 different times. We tried to call the front desk, but got no answer. My husband walked down and said the single employee was checking in a line of guests and said he could see them on the camera, but wasn't able to leave his position. This started when we tried to go to sleep at 9:30 pm after an 8 hour drive. We could also hear them through the ceiling and our room shook from them carrying on above us. It continued until after 1:30am. We were going to stay another night, but we're not willing to waste money on another sleepless night. It seems there was a cheer/dance competition in town and these guests were competitors. I have no clue where their parents or coaches were, but they were not being supervised. We were in town for our son's final collegiate track meet at CCS and were really excited to visit a new place. Instead, we packed our bags and drove the 8 hours back home following the meet. We were so disappointed.
