Lovely staff and great stay overall. Would return.
Nothing as it was value for money
Everything, breakfast, location , staff
Nothing
Breakfast is very good. Location ok, walking distance to city center. We arrived in time to get a parking spot in the yard.
The official check in time is lousy. This seems to be the way nowadays: You are supposed to check in 16-17 and to check out in worst cases 10. That's hardly a full day.
The room was ridiculously small and as they had squeezed in a portable aircon, there was even less room. The aircon was needed, though, as the room was very warm.
Zimmer ok
Frühstück i. O.
Breakfast was fine. Good location.
This hotel is extremely over priced for what you get.
The room wasn't particularly clean and felt run down, there were holes in my bedsheets and mold in the shower. I used the aircon which made the whole room stink.
The 'security deposit' is an absurd idea, still waiting for the refund, never heard of such a thing, I told them I was going to park for three nights, just charge me at the end instead of insisting on 50 euros a night and deducting what I've used and refunding the rest...just ridiculous.
I've stayed in Ibis hotels for a third of the price that are much better.

Very disappointing checkout experience and extremely unprofessional communication
Unfortunately, my experience when leaving the hotel was very disappointing and, in parts, completely unacceptable.
Checkout took around 20 minutes, despite four staff members being present and no other guests trying to check out during that period. A new staff member was left alone to handle the checkout process and was clearly struggling with it. Throughout the process, I repeatedly explained that I had breakfast for one person and that I had a car with me. When the person who appeared to be the manager (curly-haired lady) eventually took over, I repeated the same information to her and she completed the checkout.
However, when I tried to leave the car park, the barrier did not open. I called reception, expecting a simple solution. Instead, I was met with a clearly irritated manager (curly-haired lady), who argued with me that I had apparently never told her that I had a car, rather than simply trying to resolve the issue. Eventually, in a very rude and snappy tone, she told me that she had charged my card for the parking and opened the barrier.
Shortly after this incident, I called the hotel again to ask for the parking invoice to be sent to me by email. The lady on the phone asked for my room number. When I gave it to her, she first pronounced my surname correctly, in the normal way it would be pronounced when speaking English. Only to correct herself right after to change the pronunciation of my name so that it sounded like the French F-word. She proceeded to giggle obviously pleased with her innovative pronunciation.
I was speechless and did not make any remark on it. I am shocked that a member of hotel staff would deliberately mock a guest’s name in such an offensive way and then laugh about it.
What disappointed me most was not simply that mistakes were made, but the way these issues were handled.
