Location is excellent
Car park is tiny and not secure in the sense of anyone can simply walk in trough out the night and they do.
Also we paid €345.00 for a 1 night stay , grant it it was a Saturday night but then charged an extra €20 to late check out to 1pm..
Receptionist was more interested in selling add ons like dinner etc than and very “ money driven”
Staff in the bar were busy chatting amongst each other than attending to customers .. we counted 5 staff and we were left sitting for 20 minutes before being approached.
The breakfast room was nicely decorated and clean but we were served a lukewarm warm pot of coffee (which we returned)
The quality of the full Irish breakfast was less than average ..
The breakfast manager was a nice guy who was very efficient.
Good
Great location. Nice dinner in restaurant. Lovely hotel.
The location was great and the room was super comfortable
UPDATE:
Wyatt hotel contacted me and apologised for the bad experience I had during my stay. Their maintenance team are dealing with the problem. They kindly offered me a return visit to have a better experience.
We stayed in the Wyatt Hotel for 2 nights in June 2026. We were bitterly disappointed. We went to our room only to discover that outside our window there were extremely noisy fans or generators, which made it impossible to have our window open. The receptionist asked us to stay in the room for that night and she would move us to another room the next day. We said no, as we were only there for two nights. Suddenly she had another room available!
We went to the new room. We thought it was strange that the air conditioning in the room was on at full blast. Obviously you could not sleep with it on full blast, so we turned it off. That’s when we discovered the room had the most vile smell ever. A smell of sewage. How the Wyatt have the nerve to rent out this room is unbelievable. Room 119.
We felt we could not go back to the reception and complain again the next day, as we had already changed rooms, so we put up with it. Our 2 night break away was ruined. Would never stay there again and would not recommend.
Staff were nice but very poor standard in the rooms.
We really enjoyed our stay at the Wyatt Hotel. All staff were very friendly & went above & beyond to help their guests. The only thing that I would say is that there's limited parking onsite but they do have an overflow carpark which guests can use for free across from the hotel.
Great accommodation and a variety of restaurants and bars
Lack of convenient parking
As always exceptional stay every time wonderful experience
Everything about the hotel and staff great would highly recommend it
The Wyatt Hotel sits on the Westport's octagon, which is both attractive and centrally located. This is a good location for walking around and enjoying the town's shops, restaurants, and sights. We arrived toward the end of a folk music festival and were greeted by players as we entered the hotel.
Parking was neither great nor terrible. We ended up parking in a spot out front, which worked out fine on a weekend, but watch their rules once the week starts around 9:00 a.m.
Our room was comfortable if not especially fancy. Breakfast was included in our fare, which gave us a nice start to the day.
This is a good spot if you are visiting Westport and want a convenient place to enjoy the town's charms.
The location is fantastic and the hotel has a car park which is handy in Westport. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The room was very large and comfortable. The breakfast was very good with lots of choice.
We celebrated our wedding at the Wyatt Hotel in Westport at the beginning of June, and we honestly couldn't have asked for a better venue.
From the very first meeting through to the big day itself, everything was handled with professionalism, care, and attention to detail. A very special thank you to Barney, our wedding coordinator, who was exceptional throughout the entire process. Barney made everything feel effortless, was always on hand to answer questions, and ensured that every detail was perfectly organised, allowing us to relax and enjoy our special day.
The food was excellent and received so many compliments from our guests. The quality, presentation, and service were all first-class. Our guests also thoroughly enjoyed their stay, with many commenting on the excellent accommodation, warm hospitality, and welcoming atmosphere.
The bedrooms overlooking the Octagon were spacious, comfortable, and offered a fantastic view of the heart of Westport. It was lovely watch the activity in the town from such a perfect location.
Breakfast each morning was excellent with a spread of fresh fruit, pastries, cereals, and a delicious selection of hot breakfasts cooked to order.
The entire team at the Wyatt Hotel went above and beyond to make our wedding unforgettable. We have such wonderful memories of our day and are incredibly grateful to everyone who helped make it so special.
The Wyatt holds a special place in our hearts and we look forward to future visits for a delicious meal or even a coffee on the Octagon!
Location, car parking, view from room, shower.
AC a bit noisy.
The situation of the room, facing the underground carpark was not ideal. Dark during the day except for lighting in carpark and bright all night because of the same lights. Hence the curtains were drawn for my entire visit.
It was hot and the room had no A/C. They provided a small oscillating fan which did not have the capacity to remove the amount of hot air in the room in a timely manner. Also, leqving windows open to the room was not without risk as there was a flat roof that ran from our window to windows of rooms opposite to our room. We finally got the temperature down where it was somewhat bearable. Most others in our tour group had air conditioned rooms. So, in summary, the window situation was a security risk and the hotel had no contingency measures for cooling off the rooms without air conditioning during unseasonably hot weather. This should be a minimum expectation of any hotel.
Really nice hotel right in the center of town - convenient to pubs, dining, and shopping. Staff was helpful and nice.
Location is central walking distance to restaurants and shops
