Epoque is an oasis amidst the general decay of the crumbling splendour and constant hideous graffiti of Bucharest. Comfortable with an excellent restaurant, it was a good base to explore from. Our room and room service were good. A bit tired and less glamorous than other hotels we had been staying in, we would recommend it for travellers wanting better than a Hilton and out of the old town. The taxi drivers (as in other cities) were even worse so Uber or Bolt are essential but the Uber app is not good.
Nothing directly relating to the hotel, but the locals just don't care that their city is falling into disrepair. Graffiti, lack of maintenance, weeds where there should be lawns, all just a bit sad. The after effects of communism showing everywhere.
The restaurant offers excellent Romanian food.

מלון נהדר במיקום נפלא. החדר מוצלח ביותר (לקחנו חדר לשלושה). ארוחת הבוקר בתשלום נוסף, מתוך תפריט, ויקרה ביחס לתמורה. מילא זה, גם לא מוצלחת במיוחד, וזו כנראה הטענה היחידה למלון הנהדר הזה. יש בתי קפה קרובים ואפשר גם לאכול בחוץ
