Beautiful boutique hotel with luxurious rooms and bar, very helpful and welcoming staff and great cocktails!! Breakfast was lovely and you could choose whatever you wanted. We will definitely go back, we were only there for a long weekend but the location is perfect for seeing everything. Need more time!!

Loved the location. Breakfast was excellent. Room service from the related restaurant was good. Tub in the room was fantastic, and cleaning was very good. The room is small, but it was comfortable. Service from the bar/ room service was very responsive.
Room service and breakfast are not available before 7am, which meant we had to do something else for several early days, including our final travel day, despite having already paid for breakfasts. The room is small, and the carpet and some surfaces had significant stains and signs of wear. Mini bar had no snacks or alcohol. Noisy neighbors above us were active from 12:30am - 2:30am every night, greatly disturbing our sleep. My spouse bought foam earplugs partway through the stay, and we greatly recommend coming prepared, because it's an old building with no sound insulation. Laundry was unavailable on the weekend, which required us to purchase new clothes, after 2 nearby laundromats were completely booked up and unattended. Service from the front desk generally resulted in our fending for ourselves. I had ice packs required to keep insulin cold for my return flight, and with no freezer in the room, requested the front desk to freeze them for me, but they stored them at room temperature in the basement instead, and I had to leave them behind, since the TSA requires them to be frozen solid. The cost was for a 4-star hotel, but it was more of a 3-star experience.

Location was perfect and the building was a former home which made it very comfortable and cozy.
The elevator was out of service and we had to walk up three flights of stairs with luggage.

The Toren is an elegant, perfectly located hotel with warm, helpful staff and a genuinely beautiful bar area, where my wife and I enjoyed drinks and a superb light dinner. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was lovely.
My only quibble is that the hotel consists of two buildings, the second of which is an annex several doors up the canal, and we were not notified that we would be staying there. While the room was very nice, if a bit small, I think we ought to have been told we would not be in the hotel proper.
