Great hotel in great location!
Pros:

The staff were very helpful. The room was comfortable and very clean. Great location with metro and buses close by. Would definitely stay here again.

The Hotel Istria is a perfect hotel, close to all that Paris offers.
Pros:

The lobby and its decor totally complement the art deco vibe of the building. All parts of the property are clean and well cared for, with all modern needs met in a century old structure. The rooms are clean, nicely appointed, with lovely crisp sheets and the best bed I’ve slept in away from home. The windows totally shut out all street noise. The location is perfect for accessing the Metro, RER, and bus. You can be in front of the Notre Dame in less than 10 minutes. The hotel staff are so friendly, helpful and accommodating. They all wanted my stay to be perfect. If I am ever fortunate enough to return to Paris, I will be staying at Hotel Istria.

Very nice stay in central Paris
Pros:

Location, helpful staff, good and inexpensive breakfast

Cons:

there is a slight noise from the ventilation shafts in the bathroom, apparently this is a legal requirement

Super Lage, Hotel wie in Paris zu erwarten (eher eng), aber sauber und ruhig
Pros:

Die Zimmer nach vorne haben eine freie Sicht bis zum Tour Montparnasse. Der wird aber demnächst renoviert und ist aktuell geschlossen. Vom Hotel zur Metro sind mit 2 Linien in verschiedene Richtungen sind es gerade mal 50 m. In 10 min fußläufig erreichbar sind auch Rue Daguerre, Rue de Gaite und Jardin du Luxembourg. Also super zentrale Lage in Montparnasse

Hôtel joli et comfortable
Pros:

Très bien situé (joli quartier, RER et deux lignes de métro à proximité), une chambre très propre, avec une belle vue sur la Tour Montparnasse. Il y a de l'eau potable à la réception. Merci à tout le personnel !

La chambre située dans une arrière cour très calme et au frais a permis de supporter la chaleur extérieure intenable, il n était pas utile de laisser tourner la clim la nuit.

Excellent choice
Pros:

Amazing location. Air conditioned room. Clean and tidy room, without any unnecessary fluffiness. Patio-like doors opening to the outside for fresh air.

Cons:

You can hear the other guests in the hallway through the door of the room, I believe. It was very rare though that there was anyone in the hallway.

With a heat wave in Paris, the aircon was essential. Location was good, very close to a metro station.
The host was very friendly and exceptionally helpful, replace a broken fridge within 10 minutes of us informing him.

Bien dans l’ensemble
Pros:

Proche de la gare à pied, court séjour pour nous, restaurants à proximité!

Cons:

Chambre très petite, comme d’habitude à Paris, le bruit, les gens sont irrespectueux des autres mais pas la faute de l’hôtel!
