Overall a nice hotel
Pros:

Friendly staff,lovely location,good food

Cons:

Bed was hard,as were all4 pillows,I was facing the main road extremely busy!

Poor night sleep
Pros:

We booked it as a close place to the airport on arriving back after 11 p.m
The staff were smart and efficient.It was all very clean.
I was very pleased to be able to use the iron.
The security of the car park was good

Cons:

No lift and our room was upstairs.However.the night porter and trainee? kindly took our luggage up for us.The room was very warm as the towel rail in the bathroom was hot and the duvet was .much too thick.It was also very noisy.from very early due to traffic.noise.
The breakfast was underwhelming with no fresh fruit.
We have stayed here a couple of times in past years but it is now not as good value.

Enjoyable stay
Pros:

Room was clean and comfortable, breakfast room was lovely - well lit with large windows and natural light, breakfast was good, staff were friendly and helpful. Close to Rye town centre.

Cons:

An event on one afternoon and parking was limited, it would have been nice to have been told in advance. They gave us a pass to park in neighbouring car park.

A lovely hotel in a lovely area.
Pros:

Position at back overlooking a river and countryside.
The staff were really lovely.
The hotel is being renovated, the parts already completed are lovely.

Cons:

Our room was at the front of the hotel and noisy if you opened the windows. Quiet if closed.

Lovely Staff, comfy beds, good food. Perfect.
Pros:

There is very secure parking and the property is always clean and tidy. The rooms are easy to find with lovely comfortable beds, soft towels and complimentary tea and coffee on the side. And the view from our window of the river was gorgeous.

Enjoyable stay.
Pros:

Very helpful staff. Room was very clean. Beds were very comfortable. Lovely location with a river at the back of the hotel and a terrace to sit out on. Easy to park the car.

Cons:

No chest of drawers to put clothes in. Very loud noises at 7am the first morning we stayed. Haven't a clue what was going on.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to be in the locality.
Pros:

The breakfast and dinner menus are good and the food ordered delivered in good time. The atmosphere is friendly and “buzzing” with lots of people which is an indication of how popular the restaurant is.

Cons:

A fridge in the room would be good so that milk and water could be stored.

Lovely hotel with exceptionally helpful and friendly staff.
Pros:

Very friendly staff. Everyone seemed helpful and happy. Good food in the evening. The room was clean and comfortable for an overnight stay.

Cons:

The prices in the bar, especially for wine by the glass, were rather steep!
