A DREAM

Our stay at Casa Pestagua was an absolute dream. The space is stunning and the service is top tier. The pool is beautiful, spacious and green with macaws and vibrant tropical birds stopping by. The breakfast is delicious and I'm sure they squeezed the juices to order

rooms were so, so comfortable, we slept like babies every night. The rooms had every amenity we could have asked for. The location inside the walled city was fun, safe and not disruptive.
My wife and I travel a lot and occasionally will splurge on a fancy hotel. This is top three in the world and #1 service. Everyone - German, Karen, Carlos to name just a couple - were so kind, accommodating and genuinely invested in us having the best stay, including making my wife feel extra special on her birthday. We travel to take in the culture, and while we love Colombia and all it has to offer, it was hard to leave Pestagua! Gracias a todos, vamos a regresar!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Perfect Stay in einem historischen Juwel
Pros:

Ein hervorragend gepflegtes, historisches Gebäude aus dem 17. Jahrhundert – mit unglaublich viel Charme und Liebe zum Detail. Schon beim Ankommen wird man herzlich und persönlich empfangen und fühlt sich sofort willkommen.

Der Service ist außergewöhnlich: aufmerksam, aber nie aufdringlich. Es ist immer jemand zur Stelle, sobald man ein Anliegen hat. Ein ganz besonderes Lob geht an die Managerin Gladys, die sich persönlich um alles kümmert und jederzeit sicherstellt, dass wirklich alles zur vollsten Zufriedenheit erledigt wird. 10/10 Punkte – ein Niveau, das man heute nur noch selten findet.

Auch der Service im Restaurant ist herausragend. Besonders Roberto Suarez überzeugt mit seiner charmanten, zuvorkommenden Art. Man hat fast das Gefühl, er erfüllt Wünsche, bevor man sie überhaupt ausspricht. Eine echte Bereicherung für das Hotel! Und unbedingt probieren: die Mini-Hamburger als Snack – einfach köstlich.

Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber, großzügig geschnitten und stilvoll eingerichtet. Die Ausstattung lässt keine Wünsche offen und fügt sich perfekt in die historische Architektur ein. Das Bett ist ein absoluter Traum – mit einer Auswahl an Kissen und Decken, die höchsten Komfort bieten.

Der Poolbereich ist eine echte Oase: ruhig, großzügig und ideal zum Entspannen und Sonnenbaden. So etwas findet man in Cartagena nur selten.

Das Hotel schafft eine perfekte Balance aus Luxus und Bodenständigkeit. Egal ob als Paar oder Alleinreisender – hier findet jeder den richtigen Vibe, ohne dass es jemals abgehoben wirkt.

Fazit: Perfect Stay – ich komme definitiv wieder

Relaxing holiday with caring staff in a beautiful restored property
Pros:

Lovely property in the heart of Cartagena walled city. Within walking distance of most attractions and restaurants/bars. Beautifully appointed comfortable rooms and caring staff. Products including sheets, towels, shower products are of superb quality. The property itself is a historic building beautifully restored.

Cons:

Swimming pool is slightly small, they could have some activities like cocktails by the bar to encourage guests to mingle.
