I had a late check in; after midnight, and Lisa at the front desk turned a sleepy, grumpy evening into a delight. She sorted everything super quickly and with a generous smile. She helped me accommodate special requests and even followed up with extra considerations to make sure my needs could be met. I'm grateful for her service and support for my after hours arrival. Thank you Lisa!!!

Great location, friendly staff, but poorly run. Talk with Managment apparently the sensors that shut the AC off during the night if no one’s in the room well if you don’t walk by the AC even if you’re in the room, it doesn’t work. For hotel, it was charging almost $400 a night. It was a very disappointing experience.

Weirdo kept hitting on my girlfriend knowing she was taken. He was being disrespectful and left number inside of the car which I don’t find very professional and isn’t something you should be doing while on the clock.
The hotel location was great, the comfortable bed Westin is known for lived up to its reputation, the access to the Target across the street was great for this team mom who needed to pick up snacks for athletes, yet despite being on the 16 floor (room 1626), I could still hear engines reeving and traffic all night. The provided ear plugs should have been a red flag! I had a sound machine and ear plugs and still couldn’t sleep. I booked through Amex and requested a quiet room but it appears the request was ignored. I would advise asking the front desk for a quiet room (facing away from traffic) before confirming room selection.
I usually love staying at this property but the last time i stayed i was put in a room that smelled of burnt plastic and smoke. I came to celebrate my birthday and have dinner in my room. Ordered a steak and cheesecake and what i received was pitiful.
When i went to the desk to get a room move and compensation for the smell making me dizzy and nauseous they gave me a larger room (i was traveling alone and did not need a larger room) and a 3pm check out (I’m a Gold member and get a 2pm check out either way but most importantly I needed to be on my way out of town by 1pm). These two things were given to me to “make up for” the smoke and horrible smell.
This hotel blocked the official Marriott Survey from coming to me so I have to resort to TripAdvisor to share my horrible experience.
I’m unbelievably disappointed. Will never stay here again.

I had a great stay at the Westin Memorial City in Houston. From the moment I arrived, the staff was warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful, which made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable.
A special thank you to Sebastian and Marc at valet—they went above and beyond. They were extremely friendly, attentive, and made coming and going effortless. It’s those small interactions that really stand out and make a difference.
I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Houston area.
We had a wonderful stay at this hotel with our family. The service was excellent throughout our visit, and the staff were very welcoming and friendly. A special thanks to Manuel and Daniel. They were both awesome and made our stay even more enjoyable with their helpful and positive attitude.
The room was neat, clean, and well maintained, with a good size that was very comfortable for our family. Everything was organized perfectly, which made our stay relaxing and stress-free.
Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely recommend this hotel to families looking for a comfortable and pleasant stay.
