Horrible
Pros:

Our room should not have been in service as the wash basin did not have a drain cover on plug hole ,the bath did not drain away and the outside of shower black mould no screen curtains as the window was over looked had to keep curtains partially shut not impressed at all in fact left hotel next morning.M Swift

Convenient & value for money.
Pros:

Location is excellent for exploring York by foot

Cons:

The bathroom is in need of a little carpentry work. The room is a little dark overall.

Dissappointed
Pros:

We stayed for the weekend of the 15th May at this hotel and found the room to be not what we expected
the first night was a cold and the heating in the room was not working although there was a stand alone heater which we found inadequate and the bedding was not good enough ,so we reported it to reception the next morning and they supplied some extra bedding and a two bar electric heater .
The bathroom needs some TLC , the seal on the shower was black from what I was mould

Cons:

Well where do I start !!! , the staircase was narrow and we had a bit of a struggle with our luggage
The type of Hotel it is means some of the rooms are off the main building
I am sorry to be saying this, but we did not enjoy our stay at this hotel
You expect more from a Hilton Hotel
the only thing I can say its in a lovely location

Didn’t live up to expectations
Pros:

Breakfast was nice and staff

Cons:

Room very dated, had a damp floor near the window and AC unit, sink was all cracked and did not drain properly, and the shower had mould all over it as well as leaking all over the floor.

The room was big and comfortable but very old and in need of a revamp the curtains had stains on them and the price of our stay for one night was overpriced for this room everything else was ok

Nice hotel, good location, lovely staff, just not worth the money to stay here
Pros:

Great location, friendly staff

Cons:

No leisure facilities and was very expensive for nothing but bed and breakfast,
Didnt offer a room refresh (stayed 2 nights and ran out of loo roll in a family suit)
Only had a few parking spots luckily we were able to get one

Pros:

The Staff I met were very friendly & polite.

Cons:

The room was really small & on a busy road so quite noisy.
Bed was really uncomfortable.
The Bathroom had mold on the blind,quite off putting,also didnt have a lock on the door.
Was also quite pricey for a 1 night stay,would have been better off in the Premier Inn thats near by!
