Close to everything.check in was good and friendly.comfy bed nice warm shower breakfast staff lovely .

Cons:

We went half board the food was shocking not much choice loads of stuff out of stock .I got a pie with mash they had run out of carrots and my partner got fish and chips run out of peas could only eat the fish chips were still raw and rock hard .pudding run out of choice which came like trickle pudding served with raspberries and was unheadable so we let it .service was shocking and only 1 other person in but us now we know why .

Enjoyed our visit to York found streets not wheelchair friendly, would have liked to stay longer ?

Room at rear of building looking onto back yard parking area
Strange rooms configuration ? Struggling to get a parking
Space even with disabled badge it did not help as there was scaffolding round the building..to charge £25a ninght for parking on top of stay at £148b&b that should include parking?

Cons:

Clean, comfortable, convenient location
Pros:

Very convenient location just outside the city walls. Lots of restaurants and pubs within easy walking distance. Very close to York Minster.

Cons:

As with so many hotels, not enough shelf space in the bathroom for wash bags etc.

Would not return to this hotel
Pros:

Location was “ok” close enough to the centre of York

Cons:

Hotel is very dated and definitely not what was expected given the brand of hotel. I definitely don’t agree that it a 4 Start hotel. Room looks like it has a poor quality update, bed was extremely hard and noise from the hotel in general was loud.
