Au calme et à 4 stations de tram du centre-ville (tickets offerts par l'hôtel).
Chambre correcte avec des volets (importants si vs ne dormez que dans le noir complet)

Das Frühstück war ausreichend, war alles immer frisch und lecker.das hotel überzeugte mit einer ausgezeichneten Lage. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und die Betten bequem. Das Personal sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich.

Cons:

Der schlafkomfort war aufgrund der enormen Hitze leider gleich null.die Raumtemperatur lag immer bei 28 Grad. Der Ventilator hat die heiße Luft nur im Kreis bewegt, ein erholsamer Schlaf war nicht gegeben.

Location was perfect (right over the road from the Student residences where our family member lives and convenient for the supermarket and the tram into town.) Room was clean, comfortable and spacious. Free transport ticket was an unexpected surprise.

Desde desayuno salado a desayuno dulce.
Todo en buen estado y rico.
Una joven estaba permanentemente reponiendo el género y limpiando, cosa que agradecimos.

Cons:

Echamos en falta un ascensor en el que subir las maletas desde la planta baja al primer piso, ... y es que ya no somos jóvenes.

I had a wonderful stay at Viavelo Hotel Freiburg.
The hotel is charming, quiet, welcoming, and in an excellent location, making it a perfect base for exploring Freiburg. Public transportation is close by, and the city center is easy to reach.
What truly made my stay unforgettable was Christoph. When I asked him for something and said that I did not want to trouble him by asking him to take care of it immediately, he smiled and replied, "It's my job, and I love it."
That simple sentence says everything about his attitude toward his work and toward the hotel's guests.
Throughout my stay, Christoph provided exceptional service not only to me, but also to other guests. He was always patient, friendly, attentive, and genuinely eager to help. He took the time to answer questions, provide clear explanations, and recommend wonderful places to visit in and around Freiburg.
The entire hotel has a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and the staff make you feel genuinely valued as a guest.
Service like this transforms a hotel from simply a place to stay into a truly memorable experience.
Thank you, Christoph, for your kindness, professionalism, and outstanding hospitality. Thank you as well to the hotel management for creating and supporting such a high standard of service.
