Pros:

Descent dinner at the restaurant. Nice outside terrace and pub interior. Clean room and bathroom.

Cons:

Unable to rate the breakfast due to a problem with the gas in the kitchen. No airconditioning or fan in the room which was very warm. Only 1 small window could be opened which then led to quite some noise from the street.

Overall a pleasant stay, location was great for where we needed to be.
Pros:

Staff were friendly and very accommodating. Our dogs were able to accompany us inside for breakfast.
The Eaton Oak has a very nice outdoor space with plenty of seating.

Cons:

As a guest we were unable to order to order food on Sunday night due to a large party.

Monday breakfast had no bacon yet mentioned on the light breakfast menu.

Very disappointed with the bathroom floor which was filthy
Pros:

The food was very good.

Cons:

We were told there would be an extra £5.00 for a full breakfast,which we thought was very poor as we had breakfast included in our booking, also we were not told what we could order from the menu itself which was a little embarrassing.
The staff didn’t seem to want to give us a pleasant experience as paying guests.

Friendly and welcoming staff, great food!
Pros:

Clean and comfortable room that had everything we needed. Staff were very welcoming, friendly and they went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed. The food was famtastic, we would come back for the breakfast alone! Great stay and would highly recommend.

Pros:

Very friendly staff, lovely big room and bathroom, delicious food

Cons:

Close to busy main road - double glazing was very efficient but that meant the windows had to be closed so no fresh air. Smallest bowl of porridge I've ever had for breakfast in a hotel.

Excellent place to stay - I'll come again.
Pros:

Great location for my work nearby. The bedroom was clean and comfortable. Everything worked! Good tea and coffeee options provided. Good bathroom toiletries. I was grateful for the fan as it was a hot night.

Cons:

The toilet was clean but needs a more thorough deep clean. I also live in a hard water area so I understand the problem with limescale - needs an efficient limescale remover and some dedicated brushing at least once a week. Looks unsightly. The weather was very warm and the room had lovely opening windows and a fan - but I didn't feel confident to have the windows open all night as it was a ground floor room. Not sure what can be done about that?
