Great location
No parking and building in need of some maintenance
Property completed ignored the requests for a refund due to the booking being made in error, no communication from them back to us, or to booking.com who tried to step in and help. Couldn't get through to anyone and this has been on going for a month or 2 now.
Absolutely nothing I walked in and walked out again it should not be on booking .com
Everything I place is a sh*thole
Comfortable
Noisy at times
Great location. Clean comfortable rooms and great breakfast
Such a shame it is not as advertised. Unfortunately the pub had been raided and shut down many months ago so was desolate. Definitely needs a good clean up and lick of paint
Comfortable bed
Hotel extremely tired with broken spindles on the staircase (which was very very steep). Shower unit very mouldy and whilst pressure was good, there wasn’t a useable attachment for it on the wall. Room smelt off and only available plug socket was an extension cord under the bed.
Walls were scuffed.
Didn't have breakfast
Na
Didn't go back after my stay on the 1st.i was woken up by people being aggressive and therefore didn't return for my booking on the 4th.asked for a refund and got nothing. U booking. Com and the premises. Rubbish
Everything
Nothing
No Bar, no restaurant. Found out it had be closed down because of drugs and violence. No parking. Where I parked at the back, I was told I would have had my wheels nicked.
Central location, comfortable bed, clean sheets, good hot water and not bad value for money.
We stayed in room 1 on the first floor - it was fine with a good en-suite. I am just repeating what others have said regarding the negatives. The hotel is very tired and shabby in places. Mostly the room was clean, but could have done with a little more dusting and the windows looked like they had never been cleaned.
Others mentioned a loud bar/disco on a Saturday - the downstairs was closed on our visit, so I thought “great, a quiet night!” But no, some crazy person was roaming the corridors with thumping feet, slamming doors and shouting from time to time until 4am. It didn’t sound like any kind of domestic abuse going on so I ignored it and quickly went back to sleep in between the episodes. Besides, I didn’t feel safe opening my door to investigate as it was obviously a disturbed individual.
Location, surrounding facilities,
Argument in the night that woke me up, someone banging or kicking a door. Very disturbing as I was there alone.
