Nice stay and good budget hotel
Pros:

Close by old whampoa market and hawker centre. Lots of busses connection. Daily housekeeping service is good. Staff are friendly and do their best to help guests.

Cons:

Hotel needs upgrading to give a little more idea of comfort. There was a cockroach in my room and they provided a room change immediately but I heard some water dripping and you can see condensed water around the Airconditioning and ceilings there are here and there water damage. This is a budget hotel but some things should still be better and hotel needs more maintenance and quality renovations or touch up personnel.

Pleasant stay at Value Hotel Balestier
Pros:

Its been a year since our SG vacation slash swim competition. And I couldn't forget the kindness of Michelle and Haikal to us. Thank you for attending to our needs. Shoutout to Michelle our fellow filipino!

Location is near a bus stop and there's a convenience store beside the hotel and across. There are also food areas along the Balestier Road.
