Quiet stay
Pros:

The location was convenient, and the rooms were clean. Having two TVs with Netflix was a useful feature. The property was nearly empty during our stay, with our car being the only one onsite, which made parking easy. Additionally, the staff was helpful and offered suggestions for dinner in the neighborhood.

Cons:

The property lacks a lift, so I had to carry my luggage up the stairs. Additionally, I found the frequent messages about early check-in somewhat bothersome. The check-in process itself felt overwhelming, with an overload of instructions—such as how to use the key to open the door and operate the AC remote.

The owner was so attentive and keen that we had a good explanation...which we did!! Thanks James!

Cons:

It was unfortunate that the lift was not working, however the staff were extremely helpful and delivered our luggage to the 2nd floor

My new fave Launnie stay.
Pros:

What an amazing tucked away gem! I’ve been up in Launnie from Hobart a bunch of times over the years and now wish I’d discovered the Auldington years ago. I won’t be staying anywhere else now! Staff were so kind, room is spacious and comfortable, bathtub exceptional, and the minibar is RRP. 11/10.

The stuff and the manager, specifically the manager was not welcoming at all! Not infant friendly at all, room service was very poor, the cleaner didn’t even clean our bin, we had to take out our bin by ourselves. We stayed 3 nights, and One the last night we forgot our key inside the room, (only 1 key was provided) we had to call their after hours service (at 18:00) and the guy told us to go inside from the window!!! And open the room by ourselves! As we refused, so he told us that he will charge us extra 30$!!!
