Prachtig hotel in een mooie buurt van Kaapstad
Pros:

Zeer mooi en statig hotel.
Het personeel was zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam.
Wij logeerden in een familiesuite, een apart huisje met een living, 2 kamers en een badkamer.
Het diner was van een superieure kwaliteit, elk bord was een schilderijtje, superlekker. We hebben de beste wagyu gegeten.
Zeer lekker ontbijt, alleen jammer dat er geen buffet is.
Goede ligging.

Cons:

Ons huisje stond vlak tegen de straatkant waar een school is. Vanaf 6u30 veel lawaai, ook gezien de enkele beglazing.
De bedden waren vrij kort.

A gem in between Cape Town and Constantia
Pros:

Beautiful recently renovated villa with suites cottages in their estate’s garden. Very friendly and attentive staff. Beautiful setting just 15min away from the heart of Cape Town and 15min drive from Contantia’s best wine estates.

Cons:

Really everything was perfect. From the arrival until departure.

Beautiful old style hotel, but overpriced in the winter
Pros:

The people and the food were outstanding. The massage was great and the pedicure as well.

Cons:

The beds are short for Europeans. Bathroom drainage not functioning well. The swimming pool is not heated and thus cold, we expected differently from a spa hotel. The jacuzzi we booked was unfortunately not up to temperature, 32C is too cold in the winter. This should be 37 at least.

An amazing breakaway from city life. You feel like you've been transported into another time.
Pros:

I was so pleasantly surprised. I didn't have massive expectations, and from the moment we walked through the door, all of the staff was so professional and so helpful. Our room was beautiful, large, clean, with a nicely stocked mini bar, loads of tea and coffee in the room as well, and a nice big bathroom.

The restaurant really blew me away. We had dinner there, and it was super tasty, and the breakfast the next morning was so generous. You got a little stand with croissants and fruit, and you still got to have a whole other breakfast that you could order off the menu.

Overall, we are already planning to go back on a little romantic staycation.

Cons:

Nothing really. Maybe the room decor wasn't quite to my personal taste, but that's just a personal preference. It was clean and modern and nice.

Fantastic time at Palm House
Pros:

Everything was exceptional, highlight of our trip. Had a wonderful dinner at De Tafel, food is amazing and the staff are lovely and attentive, educating us on each course. Hotel is beautiful and the room was really comfortable.
