Our room was lovely. Plenty of room and everything one needs while away from home. Comfortable bed and spacious room.
Breakfast was great. Plenty of choices. Staff were very efficient and friendly.
Our remote control for the TV wasn’t working when we arrived but was quickly rectified. Liked everything else.

We got a lot of noise from the upstairs room, we could hear conversation until quite late - not really anyone's fault, but not easy to get an early night.
No hairdryer or fridge in the room.

It was fine, but nothing particularly stood out. No restaurant, but there is a lovely pub just over the road.
Parking charges!! £15 a day seemed extortionate. It may be a good idea to find alternative on road parking.

Breakfast was lovely both the cooked and the cereal and fruit selection. I also enjoyed the music around the hotel, one minor grumble was the price of the parking, could be free in my opinion.

Very friendly staff, easy to find as it's on a main road, used by several bus routes.
The cooked breakfast selection was disappointing and the scrambled eggs were undercooked.
We were surprised to find that apart from breakfast the only meals were Sunday Roast Lunches, which were expensive.
The plumbing is antique and it took us a while to master the idiosyncratic flush of the toilet.
We stayed for a week and were surprised that we had to make our own bed and that the rubbish wasn't cleared everyday.
The hotel's main business is weddings and we weren't allowed to forget it - there were brochures everywhere. Fortunately there didn't appear to be one during our visit.
We were told that the front door was locked at midnight. Access after that was by ringing the bell. One night when we were inadvertently delayed until 02:30 the bell was not answered, but the door was unlocked. This was a security risk. Eventually a member of staff arrived, apologised (the hotel mobile phone had broken) and gave us our room key. We weren't happy about yet another delay to a long, frustrating day.
