Meh…although the grounds were nice, nothing really stood out as special.

Beautiful grounds. An oasis in the city of San Jose. Pool area very nice as well. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was simple with eggs and ham, fruit, pancakes, hash browns, and coffee. My breakfast server was very accommodating .

Cons:

Very plain room. A bit dirty. No body soap in shower dispenser. No refrigerator. We arrived late but before 10 pm. Website said you could order takeout food from onsite restaurant before 10 pm but food not available. We ended up ordering from Taco Bell via Uber Eats. Front desk staff was not especially helpful. We reported that our toilet was clogged but no one came to fix it.

Gut für An- und Abreise vom Flughafen
Pros:

Wir waren nur 1 Nacht nach Ankunft vom Flughafen. Das Zimmer war sauber, groß genug und das Bad war in Ordnung. Abends war das Restaurant noch offen. Sehr leckeres nationales Frühstück.
Ausgesprochen freundliches Personal.
Man kann die Flieger hören. Waren aber nicht viele.

Property was absolutely beautiful! Outstanding service! Wonderful stay!
Pros:

The property was very beautiful, well-kept and it was very noticeable that everyone cared about the property. The property was well maintained, and the grounds were absolutely gorgeous. there is a beautiful park area on the grounds including a pond with turtles, fish, and a large variety of birds, including ducks, woodpeckers, and others.
The rooms were very clean, bed was comfortable and plenty of room to put everything.
Breakfast, which was included with the stay was delicious and filling and the service outstanding.
My wife had left her cell phone in the car of the Uber driver that took us to the Hotel. The gentleman at the front desk (cannot remember his name, but I do know his brother works there as well) took a considerable amount of time and effort to assist us getting my wife's cell phone back. We both were extremely grateful when the Uber driver delivered it to us at the Hotel.
I work in the Hotel business myself and let me tell you this was 100% customer service at its best!
Would highly recommend this Hotel to anyone staying in the area.

Great property for birding in rough neighborhood. Difficult to enter/exit property

Cons:

No dinner available and they were unprepared to provide list of restaurants or written directions and names. It was as if I was the first ever to ask for a dinner recommendation!

Pros:

I loved my stay at Hotel Robledal and I ended up booking another night for the end of my trip. The hotel is surrounded by gardens so in the morning you will be woken up by the birds singing. Staff is amazing and so welcoming. They also had excellent breakfast and dinner. They will arrange pick up/drop off at the airport for you and will give you loads of tips on your stay. Thank you, pura vida!
