Highly recommend as a night near airport, especially if you love nature
Pros:

Staff were wonderful, made me feel welcome. Very accommodating. Family run hotel. Lovely to see the wildlife in the gardens - that’s something they’re very proud of. They organised a bespoke day tour for me to volcano and coffee plantation, which was great, highly recommended.

A comfortable, smaller hotel with nice grounds - with a variety of birds plus a small pool area.

Me encantó todo ,la comida deliciosa, la habitación cómoda y limpia, la señorita Vivíana atención super atenta, amable servicial un 10, solo recomendaría ampliar horario de uso de piscina, pero muy buen hotel.

Hotel Robledal. Mejoras necesarias.
Pros:

Hermosos jardines. Buena ubicación. Buen desayuno.

Cons:

El servicio de limpieza de la habitación no realiza tareas esenciales como retiro de desechos del cesto de basura. Algunos días deja la cama mal tendida. No siempre reemplaza las toallas. Las habitaciones regulares (no podemos opinar sobre las especiales) tienen un problema de contaminación acústica, ya que se escucha muy fuerte la conversación y el tránsito de los huéspedes vecinos. Probablemente por razones de seguridad el portón de ingreso al hotel permanece cerrado, pero algunas veces el personal no reacciona prontamente al timbre que el huésped debe tocar para que le abran.

A sweet and peaceful refuge for the traveller
Pros:

A very welcoming and comfortable spot to spend one night between flights. The place was clean quiet and well maintained. A very Costa Rican welcome

Delicious dinner that felt both wholesome and healthy!

La tranquilidad y paz del lugar que pareciera estar lejos de cualquier centro urbano. Que tiene un bar-estaurante con comida bien sabrosa,, o sea con buena cocina y el cuarto muy comodo. Además todo el personal muy atento y amable.

Cons:

El horario del bar-restaurante, cierra la cocina quw alas 8:00 pm, y el bar a las 10 pm.. El agua de la piscina la temperatura pudiera ser mas controlada y mas caliente que relaje

Meh…although the grounds were nice, nothing really stood out as special.
Pros:

Beautiful grounds. An oasis in the city of San Jose. Pool area very nice as well. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was simple with eggs and ham, fruit, pancakes, hash browns, and coffee. My breakfast server was very accommodating .

Cons:

Very plain room. A bit dirty. No body soap in shower dispenser. No refrigerator. We arrived late but before 10 pm. Website said you could order takeout food from onsite restaurant before 10 pm but food not available. We ended up ordering from Taco Bell via Uber Eats. Front desk staff was not especially helpful. We reported that our toilet was clogged but no one came to fix it.
