Die gute Lage.

Für meinen Aufenthalt im Hotel Stuttgart Airport hatte ich ein Zimmer mit Doppelbett gebucht. Bei der Ankunft erhielt ich zunächst Zimmer 626, das jedoch mit zwei Einzelbetten ausgestattet war. Nach Reklamation bekam ich Zimmer 538 mit Kingsize-Bett. Dort standen allerdings noch Essensreste auf dem Tisch, auch wenn das Zimmer ansonsten sauber wirkte.
Nach dem Bezug des Zimmers schaltete ich die Klimaanlage ein. Selbst nach über einer Stunde war keine Kühlleistung festzustellen, sodass das Zimmer bei Außentemperaturen von rund 32 °C unerträglich warm blieb. An der Rezeption wurde mir mitgeteilt, dass bereits ein Techniker an dem Problem arbeite und die Anlage noch am selben Tag oder spätestens am nächsten Tag wieder funktionieren sollte.
Da ich zwischenzeitlich die Bewertungen des Hotels gelesen hatte, sprach ich die Mitarbeiterin darauf an, dass Probleme mit der Klimaanlage offenbar bereits mehrfach von Gästen erwähnt wurden. Sie versicherte jedoch, dass es zuvor keine entsprechenden Probleme gegeben habe. Die Kommunikation empfand ich insgesamt leider nicht als besonders freundlich oder kundenorientiert.
Anschließend durfte ich wieder Zimmer 626 beziehen. Aufgrund der Lage war es dort etwas kühler, jedoch funktionierte auch in diesem Zimmer die Klimaanlage weder am selben noch am folgenden Tag. Die Nächte waren dadurch sehr unangenehm und wenig erholsam. Gerade deshalb bucht man ein 4-Sterne-Hotel mit ausgewiesener Klimaanlage.
Leider hörten die Mängel damit nicht auf. Der Ablauf des Waschbeckens war undicht, wodurch der Badezimmerboden überflutet wurde. Zudem war die Duschwand nicht sauber, an der Wand befanden sich noch Haare vorheriger Gäste und im Waschbeckenablauf waren ebenfalls Rückstände sichtbar.
Durch meinen Außendienst bin ich sehr häufig in Hotels unterschiedlicher Kategorien unterwegs. Ein derart enttäuschendes Erlebnis in einem 4-Sterne-Hotel habe ich bisher jedoch noch nicht erlebt.

Pros:

Zimmer waren sauber u auch relativ neu

Cons:

Die Klimaanlage hat nicht funktioniert (heißester Tag). Es wurde zwar ein Ventilator zusätzlich angeboten u das Parken war kostenlos, aber von einem 4Stern Hotel erwarte ich schon, dass die Klimaanlage funktioniert.

Pros:

Es war bei diesem Besuch überraschend noch angenehmer, als sonst. Wir haben (als Genius 3) ein Upgrade erhalten und somit ein größeres Zimmer und kostenfreies Parken. Top.
Essen und Bar war wie üblich super.
