Beautiful “village” in the heart of Sigiriya, amazing ayurveda wellness center, gorgeous views.
Pros:

Great buffet food and drinks. Gorgeous little pool. Amazing ayurveda center - one would go back if only for this center. Property had a wide range of animals and birds too - minding their own business - well taken care of by the staff. The area is huge, every corner is gorgeous, especially the koi pond at the end and the duck pond beside the pool. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious, the furnishings do justice to the beautiful Sri Lankan heritage of wood and rattan furniture. The staff go out of their way to take care of guests - asking for feedback, listening to your needs and proactively offering suggestions to make your stay better.

Cons:

Absolutely nothing. The place is truly exceptional.

Descent property and worth the money except for the food experience.
Pros:

Location, natural beauty and the feel good factor about a village vibe! Beautifully done

Cons:

Food is average. Especially the vegetarian options. We had quite a few challenges.

Incredible place with the best service in Sri Lanka!
Pros:

Hotel was amazing! Super clean and good quality service. Food and cocktail options were incredible! Super short distance to everything you need including a 20 minute walk to lions rock and 15 minute walk to view points. Restaurants and the famous soul food was only a 2 minute walk from the rooms!!

Cons:

Nothing to complain about would highly recommend booking!

Cons:

Personale per niente attento al benessere degli animali sopratutto i cani. Abbiamo assistito a scene molto aggressive. A differenza di altri posti in Sri Lanka, ormai sviluppati, in questa struttura non c’è alcuna attenzione e non è piacevole da vedere.

Scenic location
Pros:

The room was spacious, and the toiletries were fragrant. The food at the restaurant was reasonable, if not slightly small portions. The staff were very friendly. The view from the pool was pretty special.

Cons:

I'm not sure wht the doors to the room slip like it was from a westeen.

Nice but not great value for money
Pros:

Very friendly staff, good breakfast with loads of options

Cons:

the room wasnt so comfortable, beds were hard and the chairs inside the room / on the patio were also hard / no pillows provided. i appreciate their safety concerns with regards to elephants but the tuk tuk they call is overcharging for just 1 min ride to go to the main street at dawn.

Wunderschönes kleines weitläufiges Dorf.
Pros:

Es ist ein sehr schönes kleines Dorf, man muss allerdings etwas laufen zu dem Hotelbungalows. Es ist ein weitläufiges Gelände. Man sieht viele Tiere von Affen bis Gänse. Es ist sehr sauber und die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt:)

Cons:

Es kam eine ReiseGruppe mit vielen Gästen. Das merkt man, wenn aufeinmal 30 Leute mehr anwesend sind.
Essen gab es Abends für 5500,- für ein buffet. Für mich war es zu teuer, da ich niemals so viel essen würde. Mein Sohn durfte netterweise gratis mitessen. Deswegen war der Preis dann wieder voll ok;)
Der Pool ist etwas klein. Für dieses grosse Gelände. Und wirkte ungepflegt. Der Junge Mann der dort gearbeitet hatte auch nicht so wirklich Lust auf seinen Job.
Denke für Leute über 40jahren und ohne Kinder ist das Hotel super;))
