Not bad stay but could have been better
Cons:

Room-damp musty smell in room due to either the AC filter not cleaned/changed.
Very dated room needing updating and redecorating.
Bfast buffet was adequate but need to improve.

Exceptional hospitality and relaxing atmosphere, as always
Pros:

It was clearly noticed that Mr. Charith (GM) was following up on all issues, including the technical issues on the ground, welcoming his guests warmly, and listening carefully to all which is highly appreciated.

Panorama restaurant's team is always incredible, working under stress, but they never miss any details.
Special thanks to Mr. Dinesh (Executive Chief) and his team. He always surprises us with his professional experience, his initiatives, and delicious food.

Mrs. Srimali and her amazing front office team always facilitate check-in/out in no time, which makes us very comfortable.

Talented bartenders: Ishara , Prageeth, Hiruni and Hasini , I honestly consider them my sons and daughters, and I'm always proud of them. Every visit I see more improvement and more motivation towards their bright future, which gives me personally hope and energy.

The concierge team with their shiny smiles and the housekeeping team are always the unknown soldiers, but they are the main source of our happiness along our stay.

And always the dynamo and maestro behind all what we enjoyed in every min during our stay, from the warm welcoming till checking out with care and attention, Mr.Naleen.
Although Cinamon Citadel was fully booked with 300+ guests, everything was perfectly managed where the guest could feel that he was the only guest in the hotel; it's Mr.Naleen's magic.

It was our fifth stay, and we are planning for our next visit shortly.

Pros:

The staff were nice, friendly, and welcoming. The location is peaceful and relaxing, making it a lovely place to stay.

However, there was a very limited variety of food and desserts, so there could definitely be more options in that area.
