Quiet location . Generous room size

Flooring in the room didnt feel comfortable. Would have liked carpet. Or like what days inn express does and do carpet with a flooring at the front door.
The beds and linens were comfortable and they allow dogs for a fee.
The staff didn't have good communication. I used the messaging through booking.com to try and arrange a pet friendly ground floor room but no one responded. I called them to get confirmation of my ground floor room and they said it was what I had. When I arrived the staff had no record of the call or the pet at all. She suggested I was mistaken about calling but I found the call log in my phone. I did ultimately get the room I wanted without extra cost but it took an argument to get to that point. We also noticed a foul smell in the bathroom due to what I imagine is a plumbing issue. For the price (230), the service and room was not worth it.
