Bar and restaurant prices are toppy for what you get.
Everything was great the breakfasts each day were top class. The hotel was well looked after, most of the staff were friendly.
Huge suite. Emperor bed. Good bathroom. Very good a/c. Very quiet

Looking over the golf course
The room could do with a update and fridge for the price also paint retouch or wall wash as hand prints. The plug sockets had paint on them, shower tray cracked. No bottle water. Carpets need a good wash.
We stayed here as we had a wedding nearby and wanted some of the group to play golf.
I'm only a part time golfer so playing this course was challenging , it amazingly long and wide with not too many trees but lots of bunkers, hills and rough , and some lakes , and most of the greens were not flat , so we really enjoyed playing it. There is even a tuck shop half way around which sells drinks , food , ice cream etc.
The double room was fine the facilities were adequate plenty of hot water in the shower and lots of toiletries and a very comfortable bed.
The hotel is quite dated , felt 1990's and some of the equipment , e g shower door and tray were grubby and needed replacing , not an easy job.
However it was very hot when we arrived and the rooms air conditioning was excellent ,you felt it as soon as you went into the room.
The breakfast was ok , not a buffet which is usually good news but the portions were small , we had the eggs on toast which only had one slice of bread.
My main gripe is they have a bar which has an outside balcony which has great views over the countryside , We went up there at 9.30 pm and although it was virtually empty there was not a table that had been cleared of numerous drinks , bar food , left over pizzas etc. I find this is a sign of poor management, later I saw four young staff huddled outside the restaurant , who could easily have done this.
My conclusion is I would come again for a golf break but not the ambience .
Lovely staff making for a comfortable stay

Firstly, the course is fantastic and in great condition. The staff in the spike bar and the restaurant require customer service training as they seem to be wishing you weren’t there and in there phone rather than watching the room for customers. After dinner and post pre authorisation checking in they decided to chase us up to the room to get payment for additional spends rather than posting it to the room for checkout. The hotel lets the course down to be fair but the positives are the staff in the golf shop and reception are very Pleasant. The food was also nice for dinner but lacking for breakfast. I wouldn’t come back and stay overnight until the service improves which is a shame as the course is lovely ⛳️

No water supplied in rooms, I felt a hotel of this price should provide water in the rooms. Also AC didn’t seem to work very well if not at all.
Hotel is well located for our trip purpose. Gym and spa were comprehensive. Lounge bar and food options were good although prices high for quality offered. Good parking availability. Air-con worked well and kept room cool in very high temps.
Room was not as good as remembered from previous stays, room was old and lacked a fridge, balcony was dirty, all the sockets are for 3-pin 240V or old-style internet cables, no USB sockets available. Changing rooms are dirty and shower cubicles are school standard in the spa/gym area. Bar food was not great and bar was very noisy with golfing guests. Golfing facilities do not allow people to use range unless you have your own clubs (no range only club lends available).
