Important information:

Although the hotel does not have private parking facilities due to its prominent location in the town center, it is located very close to a public pay display car park. It is only chargeable between the hours of 08:00 - 18:00, and overnight it is free (advisable to put a ticket on your car overnight as it does not start charging until the morning, so then saving you the inconvenience of rushing out early in the morning). There are also numerous alternative parking facilities around the town, some of which are free and all within walking distance of the hotel.

Check-in after 23:00 is only possible by contacting the property at least 48 hours in advance. Reception closes at 23:00 after which access is not possible.

Please note that extra beds can only be accommodated in selected Superior and Executive rooms, subject to a charge per night.Extra beds should be requested before arrival and are only guaranteed once confirmed by the hotel.

Pets: Assistance & guide dogs are permitted.
We welcome well-behaved dogs in selected rooms, at an additional rate of £20 per dog and up to a maximum of 2 small dogs. The Hotel reserves the right to decline your request.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. Great place to stay in the middle of Arundel
Pros:

All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Comfortable room and excellent breakfast. Location is in the centre of Arundel and there is free on road parking within walking distance.

Pros:

Great choice and excellent quality for breakfast. The full healthy option was exceptional and unusual. Location was terrific, right in the centre of town. Comfortable bedroom but shower needed attention.

Great little hotel with great staff
Pros:

Great hotel/pub in a beautiful town.
The room was lovely with great bed and bedding.
Staff were great and really friendly and helpful.

Cons:

The shower!
No pressure, you have to run around in it to get wet! Hardly any pressure.
Dynamic pricing. This hotel is really convenient for Goodwood and so the room was double its normal price as the Goodwood Revival was on.

Excellent; very good food as we are in the pub and equally great breakfast with plenty of choice.
Pros:

Lovely hotel, well furnished and decorated. A very good range of refreshments and biscuits. Lovely touch to have bath robes and sleepers.

Perfect for walkers on the Monarchs Way
Pros:

We were upgraded on arrival to a lovely room with a view over the street. Staff were great and breakfast was really good.

Cons:

There was no HSB or London Pride available at the bar due to a delivery error.

Disappointing
Pros:

The breakfast was great and the location perfect

Cons:

The room was so incredibly tiny with a very small window. It was really claustrophobic. The towels were dirty, the shower also tiny and water not draining and the toilet seat came loose every time you sat on it. Really not good value for money

Highly recommend the Swan
Pros:

The Swan is situated in the heart of the town so an excellent location for us to stay during the festival. It is very clean and the staff were very friendly. The stand out member of staff was Sarah, who couldn't have been more friendly, helpful and efficient and made us feel at home.
We had an air conditioned room which made for a pleasant and comfortable sleep at night. The food was also of a high standard.

Cons:

Unfortunately Sarah had a day off and we missed her when she wasn't around. Just goes to show what a treasure you have as a member of your staff
