Incredible team of staff. Everyone was so friendly, cheerful and helpful.
Extremely clean and tidy
No aircon in the room .
Lovely place perfect for accessing local area and working in Worcester
Wifi is not very good for business travellers
The hotel is clean and well presented. What we saw of the gardens appeared pretty and well kept. However, the hotel is over priced for the facilities it has. It is extra for the pool and spa which is clear on the booking. The gym is small and does not have much equipment. The staff appeared poorly trained to help guests and provide a good experience for hotel guests. The food is overpriced for what it is, which is quite basic, but tasty enough.
An example, I was told if by the waitress that if I sat outside she wouldn’t go out there much so best come to the bar to order. She then added service charge to my bill which I was expected to sign for as I ordered when I hadn’t actually received any service at that point. No one came to check the food was ok after we had started eating. We weren’t offered the dessert menu and after we had asked for it no one then returned to take our order. These are all minor details, easy enough to solve but the details matter when you are paying for a middle of the range hotel which is trying to market its self as a luxury stay. Also an error in my bill when I was leaving, I don’t normally check but the lack of attention to detail generally just left me feeling I needed to review it. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel or stay again.
The beds were comfortable and our room was huge. All the staff were lovely.
The food let the hotel down a bit. I can see the chef tried hard but the sausage and mash was so salty it was not edible, the gammon was mostly salt and gristle. When I asked for an another slice of pineapple (the first one was about the size of a stamp) I was given one that was cold and had been wiped around a burnt pan. I’m guessing chef was disgusted with me for asking and that was his feedback.
It was a delightful hotel, beautiful outside space and loads of parking. Very clean and the staff were great.
Drinks a little pricey, but you’d expect that I guess. No aircon in the room was really surprising and disappointing.
My wife and i stayed here last weekend as we attended a close friends wedding at St Josephs church and reception at the Hop Shed , it was situated in a good location for both the ceremony and reception. I must say the room was spacious, and welcoming. The staff were very friendly and ensured our stay was first class. The food in the restaurant was very appetising. I whole heartedly recommend booking a stay at this hotel and spa.
Good airy room, plenty of parking, good breakfast
Poor WiFi, worst we can recall for a long time. The bed had a castor sticking out & my wife caught her toe on it - painful. I was able to turn the castor inwards so it was no longer a danger, but really, the hotel staff should have been on top of that issue.
Good location, easy access to Worcester. Great gym and spa facilities.
Wifi wasn’t great for connecting to vpn for work
Good location, lovely and clean and friendly staff.
Was disappointed that the spa swimming pool was extra at a ridiculous cost of £15/person/day.
Only wanted an hour.
The property was spacious and clean. The toiletries provided were excellent quality. The staff were friendly, checkin and out was quick. The tea and biscuits were well received.
It was a little chilly in the room, breakfast lacked organisation as there was a wait for a lot of things to be replenished. This included food and crockery.
