Sehr schöne Unterkunft direkt am Meer und sehr nahe an der Stadt Triest.
Pros:

Das Tre Merli liegt direkt am Wasser, Parkplätze direkt beim Haus, die netten, gastfreundlichen Mitarbeiter und das wirklich köstliche Essen (Frühstück und Abendessen) Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen.

Cons:

Am ersten Abend war eine Hochzeit im Restaurant, daher war sehr laute Musik bis in die späten Nachtstunden.

Litet familjärt hotell vid havet och bra parkering
Pros:

Det var väldigt bra läge med egen brygga och mysigt rum med terrasser. Läget var trevligt till den stora stranden / promenaden bredvid hotellet i solnedgången . Rekommenderar gärna boendet .

Die Lage direkt am Meer und in Stadtnähe ist sensationell. Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Zimmer sind sauber, aber doch schon in die Jahre gekommen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Das Hotel lebt von seiner Lage – nicht von Gastgeberqualität.
Das Zimmer war abgewohnt. Das könnte man renovieren. Die Haltung gegenüber Gästen leider nicht so einfach.

Der Check-in fand ohne Begrüßung statt, sondern mit einem knappen: „Your passports, please.“ Das war dann auch schon der freundlichste Moment unseres Aufenthalts.
Im Restaurant – schöne Terrasse am Meer – setzte sich der Eindruck fort: Wir sprechen Italienisch, Sie mit uns Englisch.
Statt Aufmerksamkeit oder Gastlichkeit: viel grundlose Überheblichkeit.
Die Terrasse war nahezu leer. Dennoch war es ein Problem, mit zufällig getroffenen Freunden gemeinsam an einem Tisch zu sitzen. Wir sind selbst Hoteliers und konnten nur staunen, wie sehr dieser simple Wunsch offenbar als Störung des Betriebsablaufs empfunden wurde. Der Tisch musste ganz nach hinten. Die „Frontrow“-Tische blieben übrigens den ganzen Abend unbesetzt. Als es zu regnen begann, wurden bei den italienischen Gästen sofort die Schirme geöffnet. Wir mussten erst aktiv darauf hinweisen. Das Essen war gut, die Portionen überschaubar, der Preis grundsätzlich fair. Der Abschluss vervollständigte das Bild: Eine weitere Flasche Franciacorta wurde geöffnet, eingeschenkt und mit den Worten in den Kühler gedonnert: „We close in ten minutes. You can take the bottle to the hotel terrace.“
Wir und unsere Freunde rätselten dann später – auf Badeliegen hockend, Franciacorta trinkend und darauf wartend, um Mitternacht auf einen Geburtstag anzustoßen –, worauf sich diese verächtliche Haltung gegenüber nicht-italienischen Hotelgästen eigentlich gründet. Unsere Restaurantrechnung war am Ende höher als die Hotelrechnung für die Nacht. Schlechte Gäste waren wir also sicher nicht. Mit Kompetenz, fachlicher Souveränität oder überragender Leistung lässt sich diese Arroganz jedenfalls ebenso wenig erklären wie mit echter Gastfreundschaft oder Gastgeberkultur.
Es wird dann wohl doch die Lage sein, die Besitzer und Mitarbeiter so außerordentlich stolz macht?
