HIGHLY OVERPRICED, POORLY MAINTAINED AND ABSOLUTELY NOT WORTH THE AMOUNT CHARGED
Pros:

Booked this hotel only to rest comfortably for one night before our next day flight, but the experience turned into a NIGHTMARE immediately after check-in.

Paid a premium price for a “premium” room with an extra bed, yet the room quality and service were far below basic standards.

forcing us to keep shifting rooms late at night instead of resting.

• No windows in the room,
• TV doesnt work
• No ceiling fan in any rooms,
• the centralised AC was locked around 26–27°C in peak summer heat, making the room extremely uncomfortable. The AC barely worked, and instead of resolving the issue, we were handed a standing fan while repeatedly being told, “Don’t worry, the AC will start working, it’s centrally load-managed.”

• Imagine paying premium tariffs and then being expected to sleep in extreme summer heat with one standing fan. Which hotel charging these prices cannot even provide functioning AC? ABSOLUTELY PATHETIC.

• Dirty sheets, dirty carpets, outdated uncomfortable extra bed, and a very poorly maintained property overall.

• Checked in around 10 PM and spent the next 2 hours only dealing with issues, changing rooms, and shifting luggage.

• While the ground staff was still comparatively helpful, the reception team was completely unhelpful, indifferent, and hardly bothered despite repeated complaints.

• The only good thing about this horrible hotel is that it’s close to the airport, unfortunately, that convenience comes at the cost of comfort, cleanliness, and basic services and hospitality.

The hotel was absolutely filthy and should be just a 1 star hotel.
Its a blot on the name of Sarovar Portico.
What an absolutely filthy hotel.
Room was bad bathroom was worse and dirty as hell.
It was old and smelled of death and garbage.
Food was ridiculously expensive for the shittiest hotel i have ever been to.
Photos are grossly misleading.

Pros:

I had stayed here before and I had really liked it. But this time it was a really bad room. I had booked an Executive room. While the room was large, it was extremely basic. The bathroom was really really bad. It was terrible. The bathtub looked like it was placed on bricks. If I remember correctly, my room number was 203.

The room attendant knocked on my door at 11.30pm asking if there was an issue with the hot water in the bathroom. I had not asked for it. I had slept earlier because I had an morning flight the next day.

Breakfast was ok. But the room did it for me. I would not recommend this place at all. I paid INR 7,000 for the room and was utterly disappointed.

Family trip to Delhi
Pros:

Great experience with Sarovar Portico hotel. This is the second time am staying here and will recommend it for family stay any day. Ms Ankita helped us through breakfast quick, fast and efficient. With the price we paid, breakfast spread was quite substantial !!
