Pros:

Great value for money, good location

Cons:

Weird that the bathroom was outside of the room however we just didn’t realise we had booked this kind of room so not a fault of the property just wouldn’t book a room like that again.

Gregory by the Warren honest review
Pros:

Clean and very big room. Free car parking.

Cons:

It was at the very top of the house with no lift and lots stairs. It was over 30 degrees in the bedroom. There were 2 fans but this just served to move the heat around the room more. There was a radiator in the bathroom that was hot and couldn't be turned off. There were 3 beds in this room but we slept on top of the bed without clothes. Very little sleep was had by either of us. I told the reception in the evening but he couldn't do anything. I emailed the hotel as he then went off duty but they just said to ask for another fan in the morning. As mid to late 60s travellers this place didn't suit us.

Pros:

The bedrooms are good size and clean. Beds are comfortable, and the temperature is just right.

Have a TV, charging plugs.. very quiet. clean bathroom with all the facilities.

Access is via a key at the front door, that you access with your booking code.

clean toilets and showers.

Cons:

When I was walking to the location, Google maps describes it as "Gregory guest house". it is a converted large house, and is somewhere between a hotel and guest house.

It's up a residential side street, about 1.5 miles from the railway station.

When you walk to your room, the old wooden floors move, and the room door looks about 50 years old. It's safely locked, but the picture I'm painting is that this is a converted old house. it's not a newly built hotel.

the breakfast was poor and poor value for money.

the couple running the breakfast name sure there was just enough for 1 or two people.

- I filled a small glass of orange, and the container ran out. the lady then re-filled it with an amount for 2 small glasses of orange.
- I had the last two slices of cheese. the lady then put two more slices of cheese out.
- one croissant left out, and replaced when I took it....... with one croissant.
- can't help yourself to eggs, you have to order them.

It's really penny pinching, to make sure you don't take much food. the lady stood watching, replacing items with the minimum.
