Would stay again for a one night stay but request a bigger room.

Cons:

We were put into room 7. I would only stay here as a couple, not with a colleague or a friend. The room has a shower in the room itself it isn’t in the bathroom. No privacy. Very small and the shower itself wasn’t overly clean. I’d imagine quite damp too with a shower in the bedroom / carpet being wet etc.

such a gem perfect 1 or 2 night cozy getaway

Dinner, wine, beers, service, setting, room all excellent

Cons:

could have been some bath salts or oils in the room with the bath (no10). Breakfast was only little bit of yoghurt left and no croissants and had to go up to order eggs, breakfast experience could be improved.

Very enjoyable stay. Well appointed bedrooms and super comfortable

It would have been nice if there was a lounge away from the bar area for hotel guests so we could sit somewhere more comfortable with our drink.

Pros:

Heel gezellig hotel, vriendelijk personeel en goed restaurant. Gezellige kamer. Locatie is goed om Stone Henge, Bath en Salesbury te bezoeken.

Very enjoyable stay and excellent value.
Pros:

The food was excellent with the special daily fish menu a real highlight. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Free parking was also a bonus.

Cons:

Nothing really - the room was a little dark and creaky but we recognised that this was an old building that has been well maintained.
