Do not let the marketing fool you. Sayaji Pune (Wakad) poses as a premium star hotel, but in reality, it has the infrastructure, vibe, and service quality of a basic roadside property.
They are fully aware of their subpar standards, which explains their shady policy of demanding 100% full advance payments. They trap your money upfront because they know that if guests paid at checkout, no one would hand over a single rupee for the experience they actually deliver.
I stayed here for two weeks on a corporate booking, and it was an absolute disaster from start to finish:
The Food is Terrible (Skip the Buffet): The buffet is an absolute waste of money. They use bottom-tier, low-quality raw materials and cheap ingredients. The baked items and desserts are stale and clearly made with substandard ingredients. If you are forced to stay here, avoid the buffet entirely—either order highly customized, specific à la carte meals or do yourself a favor and eat outside the property.
Corporate Billing Disgrace:Despite providing complete business GST details well in advance, their reception and finance teams completely botched the final B2B invoice. They issued documentation with completely incorrect company details, wiping out our corporate tax compliance and input claims.
Abysmal Management:When confronted about the billing errors, the management showed zero accountability. They are defensive, incompetent, and rely on endless stalling tactics. This gross negligence has officially forced a legal escalation to consumer forums just to resolve a basic administrative mistake.
Whether you are a corporate traveler looking for a seamless business trip or a leisure traveler looking for a comfortable star-category experience, stay far away from this place.
It is a poorly managed, glorified roadside stopover masquerading as a luxury hotel.
