Modernes Hotelkonzept - erfrischend anders - Junges motivertes Team - fairer Preis
Pros:

Charmantes Hotel, mit angenehm anderem Still als 08/15 Hotels. (Nette Abwechslung) Junges und professionelles Team, die ein modernes und sympathisches Hotelkonzept umsetzen. Nachhaltiges modernes Mobilitätskonzept mit E-Fahrzeuge Fahrrad, Lastenfahrad möglich. Auch kurzfristig genug Möglichkeiten zu arbeiten, inklusive einem flexiblen Meetingraumkonzept. Ich war sehr positiv überrascht und werde definitiv wieder kommen. Check In wurde mittels WhatsApp im Vorfeld bereits so gut vorbereitet, dass ich, obwohl ich das erste mal da war nur unterschreiben musste. Auch die Rechnung für mein Unternehmen, hat auf Anhieb so geklappt, wie ich es mir vorgestellt habe (eigentlich fast lächerlich das zu erwähnen, aber sehr oft Ärgernis)

Cons:

Am ersten Morgen beim Frühstück hatten wir eine starke Konzentration beim Frühstück, die für Wartezeiten gesorgt hatte, was nicht dem Hotel anzulasten ist. Am Ende hat sich aber gezeigt, dass das Team mit großem persönlichen Einsatz die Leute doch alle gut versorgen konnte. (das ist für mich persönlich die Feuertaufe, wo ich entscheide wieder zu kommen, weil mir der Umgang mit schwierigen Situationen gefallen hat)

Stay at the sister hotel instead

We chose this hotel based on the booking.com photos of an exceptionally good looking bar which we considered would be a perfect place to meet up with colleagues for evening drinks after intensely long conference days. However, to our shock, we found there is no bar in the hotel, only a restaurant. Coincidentally, we found the exact bar from the photos in another hotel, half a block away which happens to be a sister hotel. I cannot believe that they can get away with advertising a facility within the hotel that does not exist.
As we had booked to stay 4 nights we requested to be moved to the sister hotel and were told that it was fully booked but that Management would follow up with by text or email the following morning. However, they never did bother to follow up with us which was not surprising.
A further disappointment is that hotel is themed to appeal to adolescents/ young adults which being of mature years, provided no facilities of any use or comfort to us. The mid brown, limp shag pile bedroom carpet looked old and unclean. The bed lamp base was a plastic rubber toy, walls covered in cartoon wallpaper with a feature a rope ladder on the wall (for exercise I am guessing!) and bicycles placed everywhere in the communal areas including the stairs. When is needed to sit on the modular leather lounge blocks in the small foyer near the front desk I almost fell through to the floor, so opted to sit on a small wooden stool instead. Absolutely bad style over comfort!

Teures Hotelzimmer mit einfacher Ausstattung
Pros:

Das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet, vielfältig und das Personal aufmerksam, freundlich und sehr bemüht.

Cons:

Die Einrichtung ist nicht so wie auf den Fotos, durch die viele „Deko” wirkt das Zimmer und der Empfangsbereich eher chaotisch, möglicherweise spricht das eher junge Leute an. Dazu würde passen, dass man grundsätzlich beim einchecken ungefragt geduzt wird. Dazu wird eine Kaution von 75 € verlangt, was ich eher befremdlich empfunden habe. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis entspricht nicht den Erwartungen, für den Preis trotz guter Lage, sicherlich Besseres möglich. Schade.
