Sanctuary Hotel New York

The hotel was a little tired and I paid too much by booking early - which was disappointing. But… location, location, location. It is 1 min from Time Square which meant access to Broadway theatre was so simple. I never had to walk further than 5 mins and i went to 5 shows! I walked around at night and never felt unsafe. It was perfect for a woman travelling alone and going to shows, but too expensive for what it was. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The staff were wonderful - which is always the hallmark of a hotel run with care. The bed - including the pillows and comforter were wonderfully comfortable - and again reflected that someone genuinely cared that guests enjoy their experience there. Loved that we could both use the sink at the same time and not have to jockey for position.

Localização muito boa. a poucos passos da times square, com estações de metro ao lado. Apesar da proximidade ambiente bem silencioso. Cama e limpeza muito bom.

Stylish hotel in a great location. The staff was exceptionally nice!

Great hotel with great staff. We couldn’t fault our stay. Every member of staff was faultless. The roof top bar was great and breakfast was good to have. It was basic but nice enough to not have to go out and find breakfast. Our room was really spacious, which shocked me looking at reviews. It was a King Deluxe. The street was loud but it’s Manhattan.
We surprised my in laws by turning up on their trip and the hotel were brilliant in helping us know when they had arrived. We will definitely stay again.
Only one slight grumble was the aircon was slightly loud, and we needed it in that heatwave, but that wouldn’t affect my staying here.
The location is great, especially if someone’s first time.

Wonderful staff, extremely helpful and friendly. (A shout out to Emily in the Roof Top Bar/Restaurant; the Doormen and persons at the welcome desk.) The location couldn’t be beat, located near Time Square and in the Theatre District. Great restaurants near by. We had a wonderful four night stay!

Location and staff were amazing, the rooftop bar was also really cool. The bed was also incredibly comfortable.

Just returned from a 4 night stay at the hotel and couldn't fault it! Friendly and helpful staff, found room as described, clean and comfortable. Used the rooftop terrace for breakfast and evening meal, lots of choice and both meals were good. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others!

Voici mon opinion qui est a interpréter pour la période et le séjour. Bel accueil complimentary service bien chambre assez bien équipée mais trés petite nouveau problème des grandes villes petit déjeuné a améliorer dans un hotal je m'attends a boire le café ou autres dans de vraies tasses pas en carton...le choix est trop de masse grand hotel touristes de passages.. peut etre pas besoin de groom a l'entrée mieux un service plus adeguate

The location was perfect. Right next to a church, Times Square, Train Station, Theater (Radio City up the block), lots of places to eat.

I was able to spend an amazing evening here on my own and I loved it. The staff was so kind despite the chaotic energy of New York City. The rooms are cozy but luxurious. I love the transparent shower as well, it was so intimate and I imagine the perfect room for a romantic getaway. Also, they have great food on-site. Very cute space, and surprisingly quiet inside the room considering the loud sporadic nature of Times Square.
