Υπέροχη τοποθεσία, σαν ένα μικρό γραφικό χωριό, βγαλμένο από σκηνικό ταινίας, ξεπέρασε τις προσδοκίες μας σε όλα τα επίπεδα! Πολύ φιλικό το προσωπικό, εξαιρετικά πλούσιο το πρωινό και προσεγμένες οι εγκαταστάσεις. Ξεχωρίζει!

We spent 8 wonderful days at Candia Park Village with our two-year-old daughter, and from the moment we arrived, we knew we had made the right choice.
First of all, the staff were outstanding. The reception team, the restaurant staff at breakfast and dinner, the housekeeping team—everyone was welcoming, friendly, and helpful at every stage of the day and with every request (Zelka, Mariana, Manos, Niki, Dimitris, Ledion, Adamandia, and the rest!)
This resort is incredibly family-friendly, and we didn't fully understand just how much until we arrived. We intentionally chose a resort without a water park, and it turned out to be absolutely the right decision for our family. The pool, the sea, the beautiful natural surroundings, and the short evening shows provided more than enough entertainment for both children and adults. There are performances every evening, but they are never overcrowded or noisy. The entertainment is high-quality and suitable for the whole family, such as bubble shows and live Greek music performances. Both children and parents dance, participate, and enjoy themselves. Everything is well-maintained, accessible, clean, beautiful, and organized. Children can run around freely, and no matter how many guests are staying at the resort, you still feel like you're enjoying quality time with your own family in a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere.
We've never stayed in such a clean hotel. Even when we experienced a small inconvenience in our room, the hotel staff responded immediately and solved the issue for us. There will always be occasional problems anywhere, but what matters is whether there is someone to turn to and whether the issue is resolved. The way the staff handled everything gave us a great sense of comfort, security, and enjoyment throughout our stay.
The sea, the pool, and the views are simply breathtaking.
The only thing we weren't prepared for was the relatively high prices at the bar, restaurants, and convenience store. If you don't take that into account when planning your vacation budget, it can be a bit disappointing. We also highly recommend booking half board, including dinner. It is very convenient, delicious, and definitely worth the cost.
That said, despite the prices, the convenience store at the resort is genuinely useful and has everything you might need.
Beach side
This hotel cannot be considered truly luxurious based solely on its appearance. While the design may look impressive, both the room layout and the overall organization of the hotel feel poorly planned and inconvenient.
At night, the noise from passing cars makes it difficult to sleep. The entertainment program for both children and adults is very limited. Evenings are especially boring, and there is very little to do during the day as well. We found ourselves having to plan trips to nearby towns and villages just to make our stay more enjoyable. Before coming here, we stayed at another hotel on the same island, and there we never felt the need to leave the property because there was always something to do.
The most disappointing part of our experience was the behavior of the woman preparing omelets at breakfast. She repeatedly asked whether I wanted an omelet, although that was essentially the only dish she was preparing. She seemed irritated while I was choosing the ingredients and rolled her eyes in front of me. This happened for three consecutive days. Eventually, I spoke with a manager about it. The response I received was surprising: “She is probably just jealous because you are beautiful. It’s better if you avoid that corner.” The fact that this was the management’s solution to the issue was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. Because of this experience, I would not choose to return to this hotel.
There were also organizational problems from the very beginning of our stay. On the first day, we completed a registration form and were told that we would receive a code used to charge expenses to our room. However, the code only arrived two days later. During those two days, the restaurant staff seemed frustrated every time they realized we did not have the code yet. It was an uncomfortable situation that could have been easily avoided with better organization and communication.

The view was incredible, the rooms were lovely, the rock beach was such a lovely swimming area.
The food prices seemed really high. Prices for buffet dinner were also super expensive considering how much a person can actually reasonably eat.

All employees very Kind. They satisfy all our specific requests. The all place is very very nice. Very relaxing atmosphere for families especially. All you need. Bar, swimming pool, beach, etc. Qualità was really good
Better isolation of rooms from insects (like something at the bottom of The Doors to avoid them entering).
Prices of extras (bar/dinner/etc) quite high especially in low season.

Et finalement dommage que la piscine ne soit pas chauffée en avril, impossible de se baigner !
The village itself is an incredible oasis, with so many flowers and picturesque landscapes. Also great kids club, with very nice staff, and super good ice-cream at the gelato shop. However, this is where the good part stops. Everything is nice outside, inclusing the pool and beach, but the houses are old, moldy, and worn out.
We changed 3 rooms to get to one where there was no mold smell. In the standard room category it seems all had this issue and you could see from outside, that all houses were full of cracks and very old. There is no obvious difference between the village view rooms and garden view rooms, they were identical, so we came to the conclusion that they included the most damaged and moldy ones into the cheaper category. I would not usually leave a bad review, especially since they did change our room until we found an acceptable one, but I am upset because the second one they gave us had an existent issue with some infiltration and they offered it to us after they used a good amount of perfume to cover the issue. In 3 days the infiltration was obvious, with the smell building up and a damp floor corner revealing itself, where old marks were on the floor.
Insects were everywere inside the room, no nets on the windows or doors.
Breakfast was ok, but not something amazing as seen in other comments. Omelette station used literally the same amount of oil as eggs. We tried the almond milk and it was bad, chunks coming out of the bottle, and when we informed the staff they said they will do something but meanwhile left it there for other people to consume.
The food in the restaurant a la carte was below average for a greek taverna, while the prices were very very high. We were a group with kids so we used the restaurant every day of our stay, and it disappointed us each time, with not so great food and sometimes veery slow service. kids menu was ok and with nice options, pool bar very nice as well.
To wrap up the 7 days experience, a very nice complex, in desperate need of renovation (not only the serenity suites please, with a 2x price...), and an upgrade of the food.
Super Lage, sehr schöne Anlage, tolles Zimmer mit wunderschönem Blick aufs Meer und sehr gute Essensauswahl für diesen Preis.
Teilweise war es beim Frühstück recht laut durch viele und eng beieinander stehende Tische.
