Love all of the hospitality! If you needed anything, they brought it to your room. If you needed coffee, paper towels, toilet paper, dishwashing tablets, or dish soap, and they even offer a coffee machine in the lobby. They have appliances that you can also get from the front desk. We got a griddle and were able to grill burgers. Our stay included six passes to Mount Olympus, which was so much fun even my teenage daughters 16 and 18 enjoyed themselves. They have a little fitness room that was very nice. Overall, I would definitely stay there again!
It does get busy at times because it is open to the public. But we never had a problem finding a parking space within a few feet of our room. It would be nice if they had little portable ovens in the rooms. We did bring our own, which worked out great for frozen pizzas.
Mi 3ra Vez hospedandome aqui disfrutamos mucho en familia es un lugar limpio ,cómodo y el personal muy amable y atentos tan solo a unos pasos de la diversión
Kitchen, jacuzzi in bedroom, park is close.
Indoor water park was not completely open. Huge disappointment. Rain and chill caused us to be indoors most of the time and there was only ONE pool which had cold water. Huge disappointment. Bedroom heater/AC unit was noisy and I don’t mean it’s noisy because it’s on I mean when it shut off, there was like a paper or something stuck in there so it made sound with the wind - so annoying at night when trying to sleep. Spider on the table. Ants in the kitchen. Last note - why can’t I get onto the property from the main strip??? Needs more value - at least the indoor water park open - in order for us to ever return.
I love that the property is right across from the park so I just walked across the parking lot very convenient
What I didn’t like about the property was the host at the check-in desk named Tina older lady so we had an issue with my check-in and she kept constantly repeating my card was declined very embarrassing. It was a lobby full of people she went and got the he said, go ahead and check her in. He will figure it out and she said you want me to check her in. She’s declined very rude. Very disheartening. Never been embarrassed like that before in front of people I would not wish that on anyone I was trying to show her that the room was paid for, but she, as I said repeatedly kept telling me I was declined so I won’t be back
We booked a week here via AFVC. The amenity fees are mandatory, and here's what you receive: free parking, free laundry (in communal laundry room), and passes to the park each day you are there including the day you check out. We found this to be an excellent deal. Our unit was two bedrooms, one bath. It was a limited kitchen, but we were offered the use of an air fryer should we need it. Our stay was in late May, and it wasn't busy at all. There are several walkable restaurants off property. The WI Dells Duck Boat Tours are across the main drag. Wifi was always good, though we couldn't stream from the LR TV due to how it was hung. Primary bedroom had a whirlpool tub, which I would have preferred another full bath. Overall, great stay in a clean building with friendly, helpful staff.
Every thing
The property was extremely clean and rooms were spacious. The water park passes were an added bonus.
The air conditioning was difficult to regulate. At 73 degrees it was so cold and if you’d bump it up to 74 it was warm. The sheets were scratchy.
Not crazy about the tourist trap city but, overall, the stay was fine with one problem. I could have benefitted from whirlpool to ease up my arthritis but the whirlpool jets did not work. The only day I soaked in it (without the jets) apparently flooded the room below us when I drained the tub. Luckily, there were no guests below us. We were notified about the situation via telephone call the next day while we were exploring the region, and were asked for permission to enter the room to inspect and repair as needed. We didn’t like the idea of people inside our unit in our absence but, reluctantly, gave permission since it sounded serious. That preoccupied us for the rest of our vacation day until our return. I no longer continued to use the tub after that day nor decided the inconvenience of packing and moving to another unit (not that we were offered such courtesy). Upon checkout, we asked for a reimbursement or reduction of our “amenities” fee since we could not use the whirlpool and we were denied. That alone drove our rating, “been there, done that”.
