Overall, a nice place to stay especially as a family.
Pros:

The swim out room was great, a lovely large balcony to enjoy while watching the kids swim. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was good for cooking meals. So handy having a laundry with a dryer was a bonus. The large pools were great! Bonus, great cafe just around the corner.

Cons:

I think if you pay that much per night, I feel like you should have your room cleaned after 3 nights, we didn't get it cleaned as we stayed 6 nights which didn't constitute a clean. The pool would have been even better if it was heated and there was a spa on site. Some areas of the hotel/balcony (glass) needed a good clean and spruce up. Can't walk into the town of PD, you definitely need a car if staying here.

I would love to come back and stay here again!
Pros:

The property was terrific and exceeded our expectations. The staff were lovely on our arrival and departure. Our 2-bedroom swim-up apartment was perfect for a family of 2 adults and 2 children and we stayed 5 nights. The apartment was well equipped and very clean and tidy, everything worked as it should, and we could keep the room temperature very comfortable. We had everything we needed in the kitchen to be able to prepare breakfasts, lunches and dinners when we weren't eating out, and it was great to have a laundry area so we could stay on top of our washing. We loved being able to jump straight in the pool from our outside area, and it is great the property provides towards for the bathroom and the pool, as well as lots of inflatables in the pool for guests to use. The pool area is incredible - there are 2 massive pools, and we found the temperature of each was slightly different which was great as one was slightly more refreshing than the other, but the temperatures of both pools was very good. The location of the property is great - only a short drive to the main area of Port Douglas, and there is no problem with carparking around the property (the carpark under the property is free to use). Once the pool area closed at 9pm each evening the property was a quiet place to stay and we slept very well, but we didn't have any problems with any other guests during our stay. I would love to come back and stay here again.

Very enjoyable stay
Pros:

Great facilities and helpful management and staff. Supurb pools and a very comfortable apartment. There is a cafe 100m away that had fantastic food and setting - I would return to Port Douglas to frequent it again!

Cons:

The location is not close to town or the beach, so necessary to drive or book taxis or uber or (preferably) the shuttle service.

Cons:

Property could have been cleaner and needed some extra attention. For example some of the lights are out. One safety concern was that the bedroom with the single beds (that our young kids were sleeping in) had two large windows with no locks or flyscreens.
