The nice staff, location and view make up for the inadequacies of the room.
Pros:

Fabulous view and the best location! The staff were excellent and tried their best to assure we knew what to see and how to get there.

Cons:

A bit rundown interior. The rooms could use some refreshed or new furniture. Throw out those chairs!!! Fix the bathroom tile for goodness sake! The breakfast was meh. Across the plaza at a restaurant with a grumpy man serving us. No choice of food offered, just rubbery over-cooked (brown) scrambled eggs those of us with allergies cannot eat! Small cup of coffee. Please, Starbucks is next door! Try harder.

Not luxurious but the view is fantastic

Location is absolutely perfect! Amazing view from our room.Host was very friendly & helpful.

Cons:

Very dated room. Dusty. Lock on door broke. Would have been nice to have at least a bottle of water in fridge as we were there celebrating a special anniversary. No usb sockets. Needs a makeover.

An extraordinary location supported to outstanding staff. An opportunity not to be missed.

The following is not something to dislike, but rather recognise. The building is in the process of being renovated, inevitably a slow process in a world heritage site. So hotel lacks a spacious foyer, there are steps at the front of the building, and some

facilities in rooms need upgrading. The helpfulness of the staff easily make these shortcomings unimportant, and guests can focus on the advantages of an extraordinary location.

Estancia agradable con vistas espectaculares.
Pros:

Lo que más nos gustó fue la ubicación, en la Grand Place de Bruselas. Las vistas desde la habitación eran espectaculares, sobre todo por la noche. Nuestra habitación era muy amplia y cómoda. Estaba todo limpio y tenía todo lo necesario, también en el baño. El desayuno muy bueno y abundante en una cafetería justo enfrente del hotel. Pero lo que más nos gustó fue la amabilidad del personal de recepción, muy atentos en todo momento, y nos facilitaban toda la información sobre donde comer y los sitios más importantes para visitar. Aunque es un edificio antiguo y es verdad que necesitaría unas reformas para nosotros fue una estancia muy agradable y lo recomiendo por su calidad precio.

Pros:

Uns hat es in dieser Unterkunft an nichts gefehlt. Das Zimmer war sauer und groß genug. Klar ist das Hotel an sich nicht das modernste aber dafür ist die Lage wirklich perfekt und das Personal super nett und zuvorkommend. Wir kamen zu früh an und durften früher einchecken. Am Tag der Abreise wurde uns angeboten dass wir unser Gepäck noch da lassen dürfen wenn wir erst später abreisen. Als wir ankamen wurde uns alles sehr genau erklärt und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt :)

A stay overlooking the Grand Place.
Pros:

The room is simple. The window is high up at the top of the stairs and, though small, offers a view of the Grand Place.

Cons:

The floor creaks when I walk on it. I can hear sounds from other rooms. The TV has a black line about 10 cm in the middle, making it difficult to watch.

Wunderschöner Ausblick
Pros:

Wunderschöner Blick aus dem Fenster das sich öffnen lässt.
Sehr freundliches Personal.
Direkt im Herzen von Brüssel und dem Grote Markt.
Brüssel Central ist in ca.10min zu Fuß erreichbar wie auch andere Linien.
Etwas abgenutzt das Zimmer ist eben ein altes Haus .Abends Zugang nur mit Karte und Fahrstuhl genauso. Ventilator gab es auch.
Leider konnte ich das Frühstück nicht nutzen da mein Zug früh fuhr.(Ein Gutschein für das Restaurant am anderen Ende wurde aber angeboten mir)

Cons:

Wenig Steckdosen. Tür ging nicht zusätzlich zu veringeln.
