Great location. Hotel okay, but there are probably better places to stay in the city.
Pros:

We loved the location of the hotel, very close to restaurants and the main square in České Budějovice. It's a very pretty city and we were glad we had chosen to stay there. I had requested a room with a view and our room had a lovely view over the canal.

Cons:

The staff were very unfriendly. I appreciate that English is not their first language, but a nod to say hello, or even a simple “good morning”, would have been appreciated. When I asked for replacement washcloths for our room, as they had not been replaced for two days, I felt as though I was bothering them.
The room service was not great. Towels were not replaced, and there were spider webs in the corner of the room.
The shower is frankly a disaster! The shower head is on the wrong wall and, if we hung it up, it simply sprayed against the glass partition, which was not watertight. We had to hold the shower head throughout the shower, and turning the square-shaped taps on and off actually hurt our hands. In addition, the bath was very deep, making it difficult to get in and out.
Finally, breakfast was okay. We did not leave hungry, but the lady making the eggs clearly hates her job, the salad selection was limited, and the coffee was not good.

Läget i centrum mycket bra. Bra frukost och trevliga rum. Säker cykelförvaring i parkeringsgaraget.

Immer wieder. Für mich das perfekte Hotel in Budweis für 1 bis 2 Übernachtungen
Pros:

Direkt am Stadtkern gelegenes komplett neu eingerichtetes Hotel in alter Hülle mit zugfreier Klimaanlage.

Cons:

Früstück ist vergleichsweise spartanisch und passt nicht zum Preis.

Nice place but some things needs to improve
Pros:

Breakfast was not bad,but compared with other hotels it would be little better.

Cons:

In the reception the Lady was frienly with me, but the morning when I left, there was another women and she didnt say me good morning and goodbye, like personal always in other hotels do.
I stayed 2 nights and every time, when cleaning personal was working, there was tobaco smell in corridors. I propose, that cleaning ladies have "secret" smoking moments in ventilated bathrooms, thinking tobaco smell fully disappears.
