Please note that the historic core of Piran is a car-free zone. Parking is available in the Garage House Piran above the city.
Nevertheless, you can still drive to the hotel for loading/unloading luggage. A free bus runs every 15 minutes from Fornace to the center of Piran.Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. The waterfront location was lovely and they offered beach towels for free.
Amazing location on the sea front. The positives were super location, lovely breakfast, very friendly staff. The negatives and I agree with what most have said for the cost the rooms seem very run down. We only stayed a night at the end of our holiday but it was a very small room and it all felt a bit tired.
Enjoyed the location, prime location, staff was kind, loved the towel use for the beach.
It was a little loud sometimes, hearing the other rooms to the side, upstairs, and the hallway too.

El preu ha estat molt alt per l'habitació que ens van donar, era una habitació molt petita, revisant la pàgina web aquest mateix dia l'hotel tenia lliures habitacions amb vistes al mar molt més barates que el que havíem pagat, la nostra va ser en unes petites golfes.
L’emplacement idéal dans Piran. La vue sur la mer est remarquable. La gentillesse du personnel, à l’écoute sans être oppressant. Le système de navette pour le parking ainsi que le discount pour le stationnement. Le petit déjeuner très copieux, avec souplesse d’horaires et servi sous la véranda avec vue sur la mer: la dolce vita. le hall d’entrée traversant : ville/Mer.
La chambre ( RDC 007) n’est pas une chambre 4 étoiles : petite, mobilier et déco d’un autre temps, pas de prise électrique ni usb près du lit, poignée de placard cassée non remplacée , climatisation très bruyante ne pouvant être laissé la nuit, persiennes qui ne fermaient pas. Pas de bouilloire à disposition.
La salle de bain est une catastrophe.. aussi chaleureuse qu’ un bloc opératoire ! Rien de pratique pour poser les affaires … si ce n’est l’abattant des toilettes !!! Les étagères en métal sont en hauteur et donc peu adaptées. La tablette en verre sous le miroir est instable ce qui fait que les affaires posées ( tube de crème etc) tombent dans le lavabo. Douche de qualité médiocre avec joins qui ne ferment pas et moisis. Douchette qui se fixe mal et bascule pour arroser le plafond. Plafonnier cassé. Bref très bas de gamme pour un 4 étoiles et pour le prix de 360 euros. Ce n’est pas parce que l’emplacement est exceptionnel qu’il ne faut pas assurer un certain confort au niveau des chambres… on a juste le sentiment de se faire avoir.
