A fantastic overnight stay with superb views, friendly staff and delicious locally sourced food.
Pros:

Our room was exceptional. Great size with all the amenities needed for an overnight stay. The bed was really comfy. Our dinner which we reserved on arrival was delicious. The views from the restaurant are fantastic. Staff go above and beyond to look after you. We loved everything about our stay - just a pity it was only for one night. But we will definitely stay again.

Very nice and friendly
Pros:

The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The dinner was excellent. The service was very good. For a boutique hotel with history of the building it was a very nice stay.

Cons:

Unloading and loading was a challenge.

The bank was a lovely place for my daughter and I to stay while hiking the Fife coastal path!
Pros:

Regarding the room, we had twin beds, very comfortable. Loved the high ceilings and large bathroom. Room facing the street was a little loud, but tolerable. Loved the private beer garden out back and ability to order from the table. Breakfast was excellent (service and food, including the smoked haddock!). Window boxes on front of property were beautiful. Great location away from main street, but still walkable. Great views from dining room of town and coastline.

Cons:

Noise from the street was a little loud with bar emptying out and also garbage truck in morning. One of our windows was stuck open, which could be easily fixed. Did not hear music from bar.

Hotel sicher ok, aber nicht Zimmer Nr. 27
Pros:

Lage des Hotels, Frühstück ausgezeichnet.

Cons:

Das Zimmer Nr. 27 liegt im Erdgeschoß auf Gehsteigniveau. Durch Milchglasscheiben sieht man nicht nach draußen, kann aber ständig die vorbeigehenden Leute hören. Durch die unmittelbare Nähe zur Durchgangsstraße ist es die ganze Nacht über sehr laut.

Excellent apart from our noisy room
Pros:

Food was excellent, as was the view from the dining room.

Cons:

Room 27b was noisy from the aircon running outside. The outside patio with bbq was small and not inviting but we wouldn't have used it anyway.

Short stay with friends for coastal walking . Beautiful weather . Hotel adequate . Parking caused a bit of stress .
Pros:

Room was spacious and clean . Lovely bathroom . Nice views from dining area over the sea . Good breakfast .

Cons:

Two of our rooms overlooked the street and front of bar which was noisy .
There is no parking near hotel . Not easy to drop off luggage either . More assistance could have been offered .

Lovely birthday dinner.

The staff were excellent. Made our stay relaxed and comfortable.

The nosie from the pub below our window. However, they are in the process of installing double glazing, which should make a world of difference.

Personalen var super trevlig. Frukosten var fantastisk och maten väldigt god. Man fick välja i en meny det man ville ha och det lagades på beställning. Så gott! En riktigt bra upplevelse!
The coastal path var fantastisk. Gå till Crail från Anstruther! Det tar en stund, men det är värt varenda minut.

Cons:

Jag hade gärna velat ha mer info i rummet om allt man kunde göra i området. Det blir alltid bra om man får direkta tips när man kommer.
