Great location
It was all great
Great location. Huge room and bathroom. Very comfortable. Breakfast was superb as was dinner. Staff are great and very helpful.
Nothing.
Room - spacious and clean
Bed - big and very comfortable
Bathroom - clean, powerful shower, good sized bath that filled quickly
Breakfast - good choices, tasty poached eggs
Restaurant options - plenty of options either at The Bank or two or three minutes walk
No parking on the premises but could stop outside temporarily to offload luggage before very short drive to free car park (3 minute walk).
Great food,it was a busy pub but the bar staff were on the ball. The rooms were comfortable and had a good shower in bathroom. Breakfast was tasty and plenty to eat.
No biscuits for our tea in the room was only complaint.
Nice room and the location provides easy access to town.
There is no parking and even getting to the hotel to check in is a disaster on narrow streets and crazy intersections and ultimately no place to even pull over. Eventually they directed us to a free city parking lot a couple blocks away. Never mentioned these details in the listing. And the pub spilled over onto the sidewalk right outside our room and the uproar kept us awake until past 1am.
As rated in the smiley faces. All good. Bar, restaurant and terrace all nicely integrated
Room had an amazing view out to sea. Food at both breakfast and dinner was delicious. Highly recommend the fish and chips. Staff were very attentive and well mannered. Bed was extremely comfortable.
Bathroom had no toilet roll holder.
We enjoyed everything except the rooms were at top of building
Room was in attic space. Too many stairs for old women!
every thing was spot on
could put the window up very far and the exit sign was very bright an night time
Everything was delightful. The room was spacious and comfortable . Dinner and breakfast were both excellent . A perfect jumping off point for visiting the Isle of May.
Facilities, staff, and service were all excellent.
We spent the night at the bank and were very satisfied with the location (a minutes walk from the harbour) and the room was excellent, comfy bed and clean all over, and the shower was good too. Breakfast was superb and staff were very attentive. We had dinner in the restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed it.
Was a bit warm in the room during the night but our fault we should have opened a window before we fell asleep
Nice rooms, bar, restaurant and beer gardens were all lovely
Our room (8) suffered a bit from noise transfer of people walking in bar directly above but stopped once bar closed and didn’t spoil the stay
Very clean, spacious room
Parking was limited but it would be difficult to improve due to the narrow streets in Anstruther. Free parking available reasonably close by so no big deal.
