Hervorragend ausgestattete Zimmer, sehr bequeme Betten, gute Lage.
Pros:

Mein allgemeiner Eindruck war sehr gut, viele der angegebenen Kritikpunkte konnte ich nicht nachvollziehen.
Die Zimmer sind ein Highlight. Sehr groß, mehrere Sitzgelegenheiten, großes Bad, bequeme Betten. Mein Zimmer war im Ostflügel, vermutlich sind dort die neueren Räume.
Der Pool auf dem Dach ist auch ein nettes Feature. Leider war die Bar geschlossen, die hätte ihm den letzten Schliff gegeben.
Zur Lage: Das Hotel liegt etwas oberhalb der Avenida do Mar, ca. 10 Gehminuten bergauf. Vom Restaurant und dem Pool hat man einen schönen Blick über die Stadt.

Cons:

Das Frühstück war eher spatanisch, mit Kaffee und Fruchtsaft, die eher farbiges Wasser waren und nur zwei Sorten Marmelade; allerdings gab es Obst und Rührei. Auch war ich etwas enttäuscht ob der mageren Kommunikation: Ich hatte einen früheren Check-in angefragt, bekam aber erst gar keine Antwort und dann nach Anfrage über booking.com nur eine Pauschalantwort "nach Verfügbarkeit". An der Rezeption wusste man wohl auch nichts davon. Einfach "nein" wäre klarer gewesen.

Pros:

Overall, I had a great stay. I was in the new section of the hotel; the room was spotless, the bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was surprisingly spacious.

Cons:

The food variety was excellent, but it was heavily crowded right from the start.

Pros:

Hotel v centru, čistý, bazén na střeše, ochotný personál (přátelský) a vynikající snídaně.

Cons:

Trochu menší okno v pokoji a nedostatek denního světla. Ale to je detail, člověk se stejně většinu času mimo hotel:-)

Pros:

location was great near downtown. No need for car in this area. Pool fantastic and views . Restaurant staff was very helpful. Dinner is a must at the restaurant very good traditional food.
