Great hotel and very VERY friendly and helpful staff! In fact given I have travelled a lot over the years in many parts of the world I would say they're about the best I've come across!
I didnt know I could get hot water at the bar for a cup of tea! I love tea so it would have been good to have been able to make a cup in the bedroom. Also the ipad took a bit of getting used too and the TV didnt work one evening.
Bedroom decor getting tired especially the shower area - a lot of black in the shower sealent
The situation with the lift is nothing short of ridiculous. I am a regular guest in this hotel and one lift has been out of order for what must be two years at this stage !!

Didn’t like mobility room, sink far too low room very basic
room was way better than expected, clean, modern and very nice looking and the bed was a main thing for us and this was amazing, very comfy and massive aswell

The hotel was in a great location for me and overall it worked well. I really liked the design though some people might not like the frosted glass shower enclosure. The staff were very friendly and helpful, nce comfortabel bed, great shower.
I would have liked something to drink in my room - I do appreciate that the plastic pots of milk, sachets etc and kettles in rooms contribute to waste but after a long journey settling in my room I then had to get up and go out again to get a drink at cost in the Canteen. Nice as the coffee was it would be reasonable to have at least one free, or a drink station on each floor or at reception. Also the the 'do not disturb sign', which I think was intended to be humourous, showed a young woman - who looked photoshopped to emphasise a youthful almost teenage outline, alongside the words 'don't come in, there's someone naked in here' is not good. Women travelling alone shouldn't but do feel vulnerable and a sign like this makes a jest of that.
