Great location. Close to bus station and shopping streets.
Noises from other rooms. For example, TV, loud snoring, walking steps, small talks.
The bed is huge and very comfortable, which is the main draw, and the room is air-conditioned (even if in a limited way for which the individual has little control). Shower room is well-ventilated and rooms don't seem to be too noisy from the surrounds.
It is ridiculous that 1) the room lights and blackout blind are controlled by an iPad device...especially when it is dark and one is trying to turn one on (I assume this arose from an antiquated and brief trend to centralise and digitise everything, which is just frustrating), 2) that the toilet unit is an opaque block in the room that shines light on anyone in the bed if someone else wants to use a light in that room at night...(it isn't as see-through as the Z hotel, but it is still a failing design feature. Otherwise, the furnishings are looking a bit bedraggled and worn at the edges (bathroom floor stains and upholstery rips and wall splatters in the recesses), but that's standard enough with this class of hotel.

Come sempre l'accoglienza al CitizemM non è mai calorosa ne cordiale. Il ragazzo biondo al banco checkin non ha nemmeno salutato mi ha indicato con u a mano il display per il checkin e nessuno mi aveva detto dove trovare il bar/ristorante dell hotel l'ho scoperto da sola questa mattina mentre stavo partendo.
The bed was really comfy, the layout of the room was great. The service and the staff were really kind and helpful - they made you feel welcome as a solo traveller
The TV did not work to its full purpose as I couldn't connect through the casting, help was given but this still did not work so the front desk have offered compensation. I am waiting to see if this comes through.

Main was broken so we had to use back entrance. Only one lift working - not ideal. £941 for 4 nights in Glasgow … not good value for money for any hotel let alone a “budget” hotel

The location is good, close to train station, bus station and subway station.
No cups, no kettle. It's basic though fully furnished as modern and cosy. It's just bed and pillow, maybe one more - TV.
