We were in the basement and the rooms were very damp and the corridor smelled damp
The hotel’s biggest advantage is its excellent location and the exceptionally kind, friendly, and helpful staff. The breakfast was also reasonable.
Unfortunately, everything else was disappointing. The rooms are extremely small, if you’re even slightly overweight, it’s difficult to move around comfortably. The furniture is old and outdated, and the bathroom is in poor condition, with rotten cabinets, cracked floor tiles, and worn-out plumbing.
The hotel has virtually no sound insulation, so noise from neighboring rooms and the hallway can be heard very clearly. The bed was uncomfortable, making it difficult to get a good night’s sleep.

Great and friendly staff as well as location was real close to attractions like Buckingham Palace.

Excellent location, Marble Arch at end of the road, 5 mins from tube station and bus stops.
Clean, quiet and comfortable rooms with fruit basket upon arrival, bottled water refilled daily as were the Elemis toiletries.
Breakfast had lots of hot options,continental choice, cereals and pastries available.
It is the staff that make this hotel special, they are friendly, helpful and professional. Excellent value for money, we would definitely return.

Dropped soap under sink and when I went to retrieve it noticed considerable mould/dust/dirt at the back of the shower door base (only visible from under the sink area)
Breakfast selection OK but hot items were stone cold after 8.30am

The staff were very friendly and helpful.
The air conditioning was blowing warm air during the day. We were told that it was because of the hot weather, but I did not find that explanation convincing. However, due to the staff’s attitude, I decided not to say anything or argue about it.
It was conveniently located near the tube.

The location of the hotel was perfect for our stay, being close to the shops and within walking distance of the theatre district and other main attractions. The breakfast was lovely. Eggs cooked to order if required and a plentiful supply of continental choices and cereals.
The staff are very friendly and helpful and always available.
The traffic noise took a bit of getting used to, but the hotel is close to Marble Arch and did not impact our stay at all.
Also we were staying when it was very hot and we did have the window open.
