Pros:

Chambre plutôt grande, avec une entrée, qui permet d’y mettre ses valises. Entrée qui dispose d’une porte, ce qui permet d’isoler mieux encore du couloir. Lit grand et confortable. Chambre propre. Établissement sinon d’aspect un peu désuet, mais cela change des business hotel. Bon petit-déjeuner. Voiture garée par la personne chargée du parking (les places sont étroites).

Small stay but good stay. Accommodating staff.
Pros:

Staff are stellar. I am aware my Japanese is mediocre, and throughout my trip to Japan I did encounter some impatience where staff would immediately switch to English (or use English off the bat despite my using Japanese), but that was not the case here! The lovely gentleman behind the front desk was very patient with me when I was speaking, and with my occasionally needing things repeated (I am slightly deaf), and in the one instance where I did not understand a sentence at all he explained in English, then returned to Japanese for the remaining instructions, which I felt was wonderfully kind and accommodating. Room was small but very clean (staff kindly took our luggage up to our room for us after we'd asked to store them at the front desk), no coffee but there was a nice variety of tea. There were the cutest paper cranes in our room, if I understood correctly part of a peace effort (?).

Cons:

Not a lot of storage space in the rooms, but we did book a small room so we were aware! Bed a little low to the ground but this is more of a preference than criticism. It's a place to sleep, not a place to spend time, but this can be a positive when one has the beauty of Okayama to explore.

Sehr gemütliches Hotel in großartiger Lage.
Pros:

Sehr freundliche Atmosphäre, deutlich wärmer als bei den sonstigen Standard-Business-Hotels. Das Zimmer im japanischen Stil war zwar nicht groß aber sehr gemütlich und mit allem ausgestattet. Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Das Gepäck wurde gleich auf das Zimmer gebracht.

Cons:

Das Hotel ist etwas weit vom Bahnhof entfernt, aber dafür liegt es näher am Schloss. Mit der Straßenbahn ist es eigentlich gut erreichbar, da muss man nicht unbedingt ein Taxi nehmen.

商店街のホテル
Pros:

予約を喫煙ルームに間違えてしまっていた所、ホテルスタッフの対応が良く、禁煙ルームに変更してもらえて助かりました
