安かったです。
敷布団とシーツの間に他人の色々な毛髪が挟まっていました。
Family room with futons. Old-school hotel (charming if you like that sort of thing) but clean with nice staff. Nice view of the castle from our room. Close to supermarket and restaurants.
Amenities a bit aged but work perfectly fine (AC a bit noisy for example in case you're a light sleeper).

喫煙ルームが安かったから喫煙ルーム泊まったけど、タバコの匂いがやっぱり気になりました。
Accidentally booked a smoking room, they rebooked me for free upon arrival and refused that I pay them any compensation, incredibly kind service.
The lobby looks a little tired, but the actual rooms are bright and well maintained with tatami flooring in the non-smoking rooms.

Clean and comfortable apartment close to transport, cafes, restaurants etc and short bus to beautiful Korakuen gardens. Friendly staff who also allowed us to keep our luggage there for 48 hours after our stay.
Good amenities, nice bathroom and room size
Chambre plutôt grande, avec une entrée, qui permet d’y mettre ses valises. Entrée qui dispose d’une porte, ce qui permet d’isoler mieux encore du couloir. Lit grand et confortable. Chambre propre. Établissement sinon d’aspect un peu désuet, mais cela change des business hotel. Bon petit-déjeuner. Voiture garée par la personne chargée du parking (les places sont étroites).

Staff are stellar. I am aware my Japanese is mediocre, and throughout my trip to Japan I did encounter some impatience where staff would immediately switch to English (or use English off the bat despite my using Japanese), but that was not the case here! The lovely gentleman behind the front desk was very patient with me when I was speaking, and with my occasionally needing things repeated (I am slightly deaf), and in the one instance where I did not understand a sentence at all he explained in English, then returned to Japanese for the remaining instructions, which I felt was wonderfully kind and accommodating. Room was small but very clean (staff kindly took our luggage up to our room for us after we'd asked to store them at the front desk), no coffee but there was a nice variety of tea. There were the cutest paper cranes in our room, if I understood correctly part of a peace effort (?).
Not a lot of storage space in the rooms, but we did book a small room so we were aware! Bed a little low to the ground but this is more of a preference than criticism. It's a place to sleep, not a place to spend time, but this can be a positive when one has the beauty of Okayama to explore.
