Pros:

This hotel is lovely. We have stayed before and everything is perfect. Welways book a family ground floor room which is ideal as large and spacious for our two small dogs with easy access to outside. The hotel is very clean and a pleasure to stay in. Can't fault it.

Lovely and relaxing
Pros:

It didn’t look nothing spectacular when I pulled up but the back is lovely where the golf course is

Cons:

The kids can only use the pool at certain times although that was a good thing as well

But of an with men’s room adjacent to the bar which I guess wasn’t going to be a long term problem

Fabulous wedding experience
Pros:

We would like to extend our gratitude to Chloe and Steph the wedding event organisers at the Abbey who went above and beyond to make our experience a very memorable and magical one. They are both professional warm and friendly and we could not of done it without them.
Thank you so much ladies for everything you did to help and support us through a beautiful but somewhat overwhelming experience.
We highly recommended you both and the hotel.

Nice staff, super helpful, lovely golf course but not worth upgrading.
Pros:

I like the gold facilities, staff are super friendly and helpful.

Food is nice.

Cons:

Shower in upgraded suite wasn’t working. WiFi was poor where we was located in the room we was unable to watch TV for a number of hours although staff were very helpful and for this sorted for us.

Disappointing overall for the price
Pros:

Clean . Good swimming pool, sauna and steam.

Cons:

Room was advertised with view and with bath tub.
No bath tub and view was of other rooms.

Even though the room was ready. They made me wait until 3 pm exactly just because I did not want to pay for 10 piund per hour for early check in. ( arrived at 12 pm) which is fine but despite being ready , not even considered half an hr before check in time and made us wait till 3pm

Breakfast was very simple eithout much options and below average taste.

Perfect weekend break away with my hubby x ❤️
Pros:

I liked that they listened to our request it was our anniversary x so had a glass of prosecco and a banner in our room.x nice touch x overall food staff room spa was perfect for us z beautiful location lovely relaxing atmosphere
.staff were awesome and the room was very clean .the food was excellent to .

Cons:

Wish there was more seating like sun lounger

Pros:

Location on the golf course was good..nice outlook

One of the receptionists was excellent..the other was average

Cons:

Staff were very noisy in the morning ..shouting in the corridors when cleaning the rooms

Complained about black sediment coming out the taps..and was told to send an email.. not I'll send someone to look. Or..I'm sorry..just email

Since emailed..nothing..had to go through booking.com to get anywhere

Awful.
Pros:

Nothing

Cons:

The staff did not care at all. No supervision. Room not cleaned one day no corkscrews to open bottles of wine in the bar. No one knew where dogs were allowed and when we asked we were told to find out ourselves?
