Appalling consideration of the recent heat wave. Corridors were like a sauna.....room like an over. Curtains left open all day on a Southerly facing room. No aircon....one ineffective fan. The bedding was hot from the sun. We suffered the worst night sleep ever in a hotel! Yes it was exceptional weather but the management and house keeping had made no effort to reduce the impact. When we checked out we were promised a call from a supervisor/manager......call never came!
Good range of breakfast items. The site is generally well kept and the swimming pool a welcome relief in the hot weather. Car charging a helpful facility at reasonable cost if not occupied by non EV vehicles when plenty of spaces available elsewhere on-site.
For a supposedly Executive Suite very poor climate control leading to interrupted nights sleep for second consecutive year. Badly stained duvet. Cold water tap in en-suite issuing very hot water and difficult to control shower temperature. Once or twice was almost scolded by water while in the shower. TV not working with signal constantly dropping out. Toilet not flushing properly and tooth paste stain down side of sink. Hot water for drinks could be more easily available for large number of guests in breakfast area.
Overall the hotel was nice staff were very friendly, reception staff were helpful the food was ok and drinks not too expensive. Room was large and clean had everything you need was a bit hot due to no air con and was a hot day but they did provide fans .
Lovely setting the only downside the spa could be updated and needs more beds or chairs and the garden area leading off the spa was tatty !! Also the water machine in the spa area looked grubby .
Overall would stay again but not specifically for a spa day .

Convenient location for a wedding opposite
Room 127 was unclean and needs a refurb.
Asked for an upgrade when emailed but heard nothing back.
We stayed as a wedding party guest and part of my 30th birthday and it failed to deliver hotel&spa vibes.
Window was unclean and blind broken. Seemed like the room was above staff smoking area/kitchen, constant noise!
Perfect
I booked a weekend with my wife including spa treatment and dinner. The room we booked was excellent, with our own balcony overlooking the golf course and Prosecco and chocolates as we arrived. The spa treatment was incredible and extremely calming and the food was incredible. We were given fantastic service by Charlotte who made sure we felt welcome and special. We would definitely come again even just for the restaurant alone. Thank you for a great stay.

Tapas meal in golf club servings are large and very good value for money.
We stayed for 2 nights.
And we were unable to book a table for an evening meal on the second night as they were fully booked. Even tho they were happy to push their buy money voucher for meals.
Spa swimming pool and hot tub need an update. Only 5 beds to lie on nowhere near enough for the amount of spa days on offer. Tiling around hot tub was loose. Very slippery floors. Outside area was closed even tho it was a very nice day.
