Lovely stay with afternoon tea
Pros:

Clean , staff friendly . Bed comfortable. Breakfast great choice

Cons:

Only comment shower it was a good shower but it was a compact and water was dangerously hot I would say whilst your trying to adjust it to the right temperature

Very tired! 😴
Pros:

The location was great for us and the hotel was clean and tidy. The staff were very welcoming and friendly.

Cons:

The rooms were so hot. There is a ceiling fan which spins slowly and the speed can not be altered, so stirs around the hot air. The beds were very uncomfortable as were very soft and boney, we barely slept a wink with this and the room temperature. .

excellent customer service and amazing birthday stay from
Pros:

The staff were excellent especially Rebecca on reception on our arrival and Bryn on the bar very helpful with drinks and advice.
Spa was much better than on some previous visits having parts refurbished

Cons:

new lockers you need a padlock which staff on the gym desk said were available to purchase at £5.99 so we had to take things back to our room and leave clothes in an open locker.

More wanky than fancy..
Pros:

Hotel & grounds very run down.. Breakfast was just ok my husband sausages were off not a great choice and wasn’t presented well. Room drawers didn’t open and food choice in restaurants terrible.. Never again!!!!

Pros:

Friendly staff. Only 5 minute drive from train station. Sauna very good heat. Spa open until a decent time also

Cons:

No air con in the room, and also a bit ‘tired’ looking. Not many beds or seats around the pool, had to put our towels on a metal bench in the small garden outside. Also got very busy at one point, too many people for the spa’s size at peak times

Room for improvement
Pros:

Friendly staff.

Cons:

Arrived at 3 pm and checked in, room still being made up at 4, no towels left in room.
WiFi patchy and kept dropping out.
Lift to 3rd floor not working so had to take the stairs.
