Cleanliness
6
Mixed: several reviews praise daily cleaning and 'neat clean rooms', but others report mold, worn surfaces and claims that bed linen was not changed during longer stays.
Service
9.5
Generally very positive: multiple mentions of friendly, helpful and smiling staff; a few isolated complaints about a receptionist, but overall service is a strong point.
Location
9.5
Very positive: hotel repeatedly described as in the heart of Huaqiangbei, within walking distance of the metro and close to markets, cafes and shops — excellent for shoppers and business visitors.
Room Quality
5
Negative: several reports of worn-out rooms, stained carpets, mold, missing/fractured bathroom doors (privacy issues), no fridge/safe and generally dated fittings; noise problems from corridors and neighboring buildings also noted.
Amenities
7.5
Mixed: positives include complimentary tea/coffee/lemons in the lobby and basic conveniences; negatives include unreliable or non-working Wi‑Fi and lack of some in-room amenities (fridge, safe).
Value for Money
8
Mixed-to-positive: some guests find it good value (cheap breakfast option, convenient base for market visits, repeat guests), while others feel it was oversold for a 4-star claim or had billing issues.
Food and Beverage
6
Mixed/negative: several guests call breakfast very simple or poor and request more continental options; a few guests mention tasty breakfasts, but overall F&B is underwhelming for some visitors.
Overall Experience
9.3
Overall impression is positive because of excellent location and helpful staff, which many guests emphasize as the primary benefit despite issues with rooms, some cleanliness concerns, breakfast and Wi‑Fi.

Pros:

Pros:

Scam.
Pros:

Scam.

Cons:

The hotel was a scam - they charged me twice for my hotel room and claimed that booking.com only receives a deposit - not the full amount, therefore forcing me to pay twice. I heavily advise anyone travelling to choose a different hotel.
