A great short stay for a wedding locally. It gave us exactly what we needed.
Pros:

Modern decor inside. Nice big comfy bed. Great breakfast. Dining areas both very nice (breakfast and dinner).

Cons:

Small pool area. Outside looked a little tired.

Fantastic staff and very comfortable stay!
Pros:

Super helpful and friendly staff, especially Susana! Very clean and comfortable room and hotel! Tasty breakfast and loads of options! We loved the fresh orange juice and scrambled eggs! Loved having a door in the room with a little hallway to the bathroom and the reading light above the bed!

Cons:

The shower door didn't close fully but was only a small gap and was ok with the bath mat down

The Velamar Boutique Hotel was excellent value for money. The staff were very friendly and helpful and it was spotless. I would definitely stay here again.

A great hotel!
Pros:

A very nice hotel and, if you are traveling by car, an excellent choice thanks to the free outdoor parking.

The staff were outstanding—special mention to João Costa, who was extremely polite and welcoming throughout our stay. The pool area was beautiful, surrounded by well-kept gardens and trees, creating a very relaxing atmosphere. The snack bar was also a great addition, allowing guests to enjoy food and drinks while swimming or relaxing by the pool.

In the room, we were greeted with a thoughtful welcome note along with complimentary cookies and bottled water, which was a lovely touch. Breakfast was excellent, especially the fresh orange juice. The view from the breakfast terrace was also stunning and made the experience even better.

Overall, everything was perfect and made for a very enjoyable stay.

Cons:

There were a few minor points that could be improved.

The room had an unpleasant smell, which may have been coming from the carpet. In future renovations, replacing carpets with easier-to-clean flooring could help prevent lingering odors and improve overall freshness.

Since the hotel is close to the beach, it would also be a nice addition to have an outdoor water faucet or foot-washing station for guests returning from the beach. This would help keep sand out of the rooms and common areas.

Another small detail was the absence of slippers in the room, which would have been a welcome comfort.

Super Hotel - Waren rundum zufrieden
Pros:

Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Schon bei der Ankunft wurden uns tolle Aktivitäten empfohlen. Die Zimmer entsprechen den Bildern, das Frühstück ist sehr gut und kann auch draußen genossen werden. Pool und Poolbar haben uns ebenfalls überzeugt. Besonders positiv fanden wir die Möglichkeit, auf das Housekeeping zu verzichten und dafür einen 5-€-Gutschein zu erhalten – eine nachhaltige und flexible Lösung. Insgesamt ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt

Cons:

Wir würden das Hotel auf alle Fälle nur mit einem Mietwagen empfehlen - da es sonst schwierig ist die Algarve zu erkunden.
