Really good hotel near keflavik airport

Pros:

Rooms are lovely, dinner was excellent and not too pricey and the location is perfect - in a quite spot, a few minutes walk to town, only a few minutes drive to the airport with a free shuttle

Cons:

The breakfast is no longer a buffet, instead you get a continental breakfast platter. This was very nice... bread, croissant, cheese, boiled egg, cucumber, tomato, smoked salmon and skyr with berries but no hot food and no option to choose what you want. A small negative perhaps and I wouldn't mind but breakfast cost extra on top of an already expensive room so I expected more.

Certainly convenient to get to airport. Brand new hotel and friendly staff. Would stay again.
Pros:

Nice new hotel. Comfortable. Delicious dinner.

Breakfast was a bit slim. Not really many choices. Would be nice to have a broader selection.

Gut für die Letzte Nacht vor Abflug!
Pros:

Kleiner, heißer Pool auf dem Dach - sehr nett! Zimmer sehr gut! Nah am Flughafen!

Cons:

Die fertige Frühstücksplatte find ich nicht so praktisch, lieber ein kleines Buffet.

Great place, but expensive
Pros:

Staff were great. Place was clean. Very accessible. Beautiful

Cons:

Needs a little tlc. At least in our room. The toilet paper roller was falling off the wall, the lining around the door was falling off. And the smoke detector was like a red strobe light blinking all night. Usually that means low battery? Idk. Also the ‘pool’ was more like a hot tub in both size and temperature

Perfect pre-flight location
Pros:

It was close to the airport, offer a complementary shuttle service.
It had a lovely sitting pool on the second floor. That was the perfect thing to do the morning before traveling.

Cons:

The dinner menu is definitely limited and not really something to get a light snack if you’re arriving late in the evening.
But there are other restaurants nearby
